Ideas for next Paper Mario game

Iprefered the turn based combat of the precedures to the combat system of this game. Also, despite the fact that the 2D/3D element was a cool idea I didn't really like it much. They should make it more similar to the original Paper Mario or Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

i'd like to add that i want to see wario and waluigi in the next installment of the paper mario series.

i want it more like the first two. the second was the best though because you can play as bowser and peach.

they need to implement some more platforming in it tho. they did it well with the bowser parts, but they should make it more deep and with more characters than just him.

the shift from 2d to 3d should be there, but not exactly manditory. maybe just for some funsies and extras.

Better let marios PAPER ego stick to RPGS.

I just want a Paper Mario 3. Not a Super Paper Mario 2.

Let's hope they bring back the old style, I couldn't even finish Super Paper Mario. It was boring IMO.

like the original 2, BUT if they want to do something rly amazing they should make a Super Mario RPG 2

I think they should go back to how Paper Mario 64 was.

I love SPM, but the 2 first games are way better. I hope PM4 will be an RPG (if they even make another game, that is.)

I would like to see a sequel similar to Super Paper Mario, I thought that the formula was excellent.

Maybe since the Wii has a Bigger disc then the GCN how about after you beat Paper Mario 3 then you can unluck Luigi and play his story. You know how in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door when you talk to Luigi he tells his story if they have that but not tell the whole story it would be a cool bonus that after you complete the game you have an option of playing that story meaning it is unlocked from the menu under that save if you choose that save it should ask you if you want to play Paper Mario 3 or Paper Luigi.

What i say is that they should bring it back to the way the other two paper marios were its not like this one sucks but i like the other two a lot better

I too missed the RPG elements in Super Paper Mario, but I liked some of the ideas it pioneered. Firstly, the ability to play as 4 characters was very refreshing. Playing as different characters gave you different dialogue and such, as Bowser liked verbally assaulting any character he ran into, while Peach was overly friendly. They should keep this. I also liked the real-time battle, although I don't know if it would work in a more RPG-oriented game. Maybe it would be nice if a new Paper Mario, you'd be able to return to some places of previous games for extra retro boost. And lastly, I really liked the major towns in Paper Mario games, such as Toad Town, Petalburg, and Koopa Village. It'd be nice if there'd be some like those in a new Paper Mario game.

Make it like The Thousand Year Door and I'll be happy

Make it a True sequel To thousand Year Door

Keep The Battle system-Tweak it

Add more characters

In-game voices so we dont have to read walls of text

Add more humor

Totally get rid of Super Paper Marios 3D swapping and Battle System and keep Thousands Years Door's(I want an rpg not a Super Mario bros game....Ill just play Super Mario world or Mario World 3)

Make Luigi a playable character/Ally or have two stories implemented in Mario and Luigi...that'd make for some great replay value

They can also make it longer...no excuses Paper mario on the Gc took me about 40+ hours to beat with finding almost everything. that's pretty hefty for the small GC disc. Wii version...Same graphics a lot of stuff was taken out more storage, 20 hours WTF is up with that!
