earthbound? that game is great, but i'm sure there must be some more deserving games out there that have yet to come out on the VC.......

I don't know about that man, but Chrono Trigger will most likely not make it on the VC because SE wants to be able to have the ability to rerelease all there games on the hand helds are even fully remake them on a console and sell them for a lot more than $8, I would love to see Nintendo remake Chrono Trigger on the DS or PSP with updated 3D graphics, but even just a straight up port to the DS with added touch screen would be cool.
But, I don't think Earthbound is ever coming to the VC because I think we would have seen another earthbound game by now if they were ever gonna bring it back over here, for instance, we never got Mother, we just got Mother 2, so Earthbound as we know it is actually the second game anyways, and then there is a 3rd one on the GBA. They rereleased Mother 1+2 on the GBA and of course Mother 3 was for the GBA, but they never brought them over to the U.S. and they could have easily done it then and that would have been the perfect time to do it, So I don't think they will ever do it.
You can go ahead...after May 12 because that's when I expect Earthbound (Mother 2) to come to Virtual Console. Coincidentally, May 11 is Mother's Day if I'm not mistaken. ;)
