Super Smash Bros is definitely one of the best games coming on the Wii but my Nintendo-obsession would probably lead me to buying it any way. I am actually more interested in Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 right now, I don't have a lot of friends that are into Smash Bros (so hopefully it has online)
I got a wii, and i think super smash brothers *and melee* is a horrible game in my opinion. So of course i would've bought it if it didn't have it. I bought the wii for new ways to play new games in new ways. Not to play a game thats more suited to the gamecube controller and probably could've been done on the gamecube better. Stuff like project hammer are games that are truely made for the wii, and one of the reasons i bought it.
of course i would.. im a huge Legend of Zelda fan so playing LoZ:TP on the wii was a must do in my life.. and there are other great games to it.. martinthesaiyan
I love the super smash bros. series but I didn't just get it for SSBB, I also got it for Zelda,metroid,mario and the whole motion censor concept. I also wanted it because it''s going to have online games and I love online play. The price was obviously also part of the reason why I got it.
I would still get it 100%. I am a huge Nintendo fan and I have every system that they made. Also there are other good games comming out besides Brawl.
wow...I had no clue there were so many SSB haters on these forums. Melee: that one word brings to mind some of the best experiences I had with friends while gaming. It would lead to fights, late nights on nothing but sour patch kids and pepsi, broken analogue sticks, oh man...good times. Honestly, Wii sports sold me on buying the Wii, but that's just because I knew that SSBB was coming out eventually. Sure I'm playing other games now (Godfather is freaking brilliant with the new controls) but knowing that SSBB is still on its way is letting me sleep easy at night.

I buy the wii for the controller not just the games because if the wii was like the gamecube using the like gamecube controller I would have brought the Xbox over the wii. but I brought the wii because I wanted to play games differently with the wii-mote.
I was really on the fence at the time from getting a Wii or Playstation 3. Honestly though it was Zelda that made me want a Wii. Now it's other games like, err, umm, games that, err, Gamecube games. Hahahaha

I love the Wii and the games on it and no I didnt buy it just for Brawl.That would've been really stupid I bought it cause I love Nintendo and its consoles it comes out with scince the Super Nintendo..But if Smash Brother never were...I wouldnt mind
If there wasn't SSB, I might not even be a gamer. I played SSB at my friend's house and that caused me to get an N64. Then I became a Nintendo fanboy because of that.
Wow, I'm surprised there are so many people here that dislike the SSB series. Eh, that's a shame, I thought it was more universally liked. Either way, it was definetly a reason for why I got a Wii, but by no means the ONLY reason. There are PLENTY of other great games that I'm looking foward to on Wii. Plus, you know, Zelda.
