Make better use of Motion controls
Expandable memory
Loading off SD card
Slap developers in face and make them give better third-party games instead of PS2 ports
Ethernet port cause not everyone has Wi-fi

Not crappy online

The only thing the Wii needs is TRUE next gen visuals, the remainder is just fine.

As far as internet is concerned, they need a DIRECT INTERNET PORT on the back of the Wii instead of having to spend 30 bucks on a LAN ADAPTER.

I'm happy with mine too, I wouldn't change much though. The graphics, I can deal with but I wouldn't mind if they were a bit better for some more cinematic experiences -- but regardless, it won't change the game experience too much for me. I'd also just want to see a really good hard drive for VC games, a universal single friend code, better motion controls, and probably just make the Wii Remote and Nunchuk re-chargeable (out of the box). I'd want to improve the speaker on the Wii Remote as well. I like your idea about wall-paper on the Wii menu. :-)

preinstall a homebrew channel so i can play my old dos game like Quake and play my DVD and other region games also i can play MP3 AVI/movies even cooler things play Linux and use FTP server and my Apache server

update the firmware so other things beyond the hombrew channel can play with my HCSD 4GB card and higher

I would make expandable memory, loading off SD card, menu wallpapers, play all region games and have the ability to play dvds. If the other platforms an do it why not the Wii.

Better yet, use all the money that they're getting from those massive sales to buy out several companies such as Sega, Capcom, etc and force them to make good games only for Wii, or at least purchase the rights to some of the franchises such as sonic. Also, do not allow anything, and i mean ANYTHING, on the system that ends with a z.

This is what needs to be done, nuff said

Release more significant titles on the Virtual Console... I don't see why Nintendo would not do that on a more regular basis, they're pratically throwing away free money. :?

Topic: If you could change the Wii, in what ways would you do it?

1. I would change the on-line to be much better,

2. change the price of the Wii to $1 ( not that it's only worth $1),

3. and change it so that it grants unlimited wishes.

I'm more than happy with the Wii the way it is. If there's one thing that I would change about the Wii, it would be to spread out the innitial set of Nintendo first party games so that people would stop complaining about the "lack of first party games" and realize how many good games that Nintendo actually made for the Wii. I'm more than satisfied with the 3rd party games, so I wouldn't change that.

That's just ridiculous. The Wii may be using "old" technology, but it's nowhere near worth $1.

I don't think the wii needs to change all of that. The only thing that the wii needs to change is to make a memory card to it or make an update for the storage system.
