Personally, while I think the Wiimote has a few problems configuring itself to certain games and changes could be made there, I think it would be fun to have a second sensor on the Nunchuka. Obviously a button would have to be moved elsewhere but how cool would it be to wield 2 guns that you have complete control over.

What would everyone else like??

I'd bump up the Wiimote's internal memory, making it useful for more than just carrying around a few Miis. (eg entire game saves)

Oh, and i'd also put in a slighly better quality speaker.

i would make the analog stick a little shorter couldnt get the fast acuracy with the sniper rifle that i was used to on the g/c, volume control on the wii remote speaker would be nice, i try to play games at a lower volume when people are sleeping and all you hear is for example in loz tp was sword noises and various noises, a volume adjuster would be nice, maybe wireless connection between the analog and the wiimote.

There's already a way for you to adjust the volume. Just press home, and go to controller settings.

Move the directional pad below the A button and replace it with an analog stick for camera control.

There will be wireless electricity eventually, but not soon. It'd be really cool though. Think about it you won't need batteries at all, the energy would just be transmitted from the socket itself.

More buttons since having so few makes some games a bit harder for delvopers to make right now. Since they need to figure out how to work in motion controls as well that fits well enough with gameplay. And a new speaker would be nice xP

I'd add a point system like the 360's because if you rent a boring game atleast there's some reason to play it.

And I'd add a way to control the speaker on the wiimote because its really irritatingly loud when playing early morning or late nights when everyone else is asleep.

Easy. Add a analogue stick on the Wiimote probably where the A button is. The result, camera problems on FPS gamesover.

The problem with doing that is then they'd be somewhat less accessible while holding the controller on it's side.

Anyways, I don't think the Wiimote needs more buttons. Rather, I think developers should start exploring an aspect the pointer potentially gives us: Interactive HUDs. (or put another way, onscreen buttons)

I note people asking for a second analogue stick, the thing is the pointer is meant to take the place of the right analgoue stick, but perhaps developers are having problems configuring the sesitivity so are assigning camera controls and so on, to the d-pad.

All in all though, the 'mote, 'Chuka combo has 8 buttons, but 4 of which are difficult to reach in the midst of a frenetic game(-, + , 1 and 2).This was my main problem with Nintendo going with this control method, as no way can you configure certain games to beimmediate enough with this set up. A bit like the 'Cube and N64 pads, great for the big N's in house titlesbut poor for Killer instinct gold, SNK vs Capcom 2 etc, etc.

Although, Metal Slug strangely enough was compatible with a Gamecube controller and I believe a few other Wii games have a classic controller option as well. Id like them all to have that.

Not if there were different color connectors to the same color dot that would be on the Nunchuck.

ex. a Red Adaptar hooks onto bottom of Wiimote then there is a Red dot on the nunchuck.

That's not a bad idea.

My only concerns then would be if the plug can actually output enough juice for another wireless adapter, and if the Wiimote can even spare that much power for one (it seems like with a BT adapter, a rumble motor, a speaker, a motion sensor, and the pointer sensor, those measly AAs would be pretty strained as is)

Actually the wireless transmission of enrgy is entirely possible through microwaves. Believe it or not NASA has this crazy idea about putting slaor enrgy collectors on the moon one day, covering a very large surface area, and shooting the enrgy back to earth.
