Actually the wireless transmission of enrgy is entirely possible through microwaves. Believe it or not NASA has this crazy idea about putting solar enrgy collectors on the moon one day, covering a very large surface area, and shooting the enrgy back to earth.

Sparticus247

True. However, the receiving station that they've envisioned would also take a considerable space here on earth.

Now you could induce a strong enough current in a small space using microwaves... that's exactly what happens when you put metal in a microwave oven (which gets its name from the EM energy it uses)... however, seeing what strong microwaves do to your food, would you really want to be in the same room?

Easy. Add a analogue stick on the Wiimote probably where the A button is. The result, camera problems on FPS gamesover.JustWiicredible

Not a bad idea, since the analog stick could have a clickable button (so we're not losing anything).

I'd say the analog stick needs to be a button on the nunchuk, and perhaps another button on the remote.

Better button positions (more like on the side where your fingers are), rechargeable battery, optical sensor in nunchuk. Most importantly, I would just like this stuff optional.

If the nunchuk was wireless and had rumble I would swear that Nintendo has a deal with Satan himself to design the perfect controller, then again what would the competitors controllers look like if Nintendo never existed?

I hate the wiimote speaker. It sounds awful. Definitely improve the sound on that thing. It's alright for 'ping' sounds or very subtle sounds on menus and stuff, but for games like Zelda TP, it's god-awful. Sounds like I wacking enemies with plastic and the Zelda chime sounds worse than bagpipes from a megaphone.

And I'd add a way to control the speaker on the wiimote because its really irritatingly loud when playing early morning or late nights when everyone else is asleep.

HVPinc

You CAN control the volume on the Wiimote speaker, thats what you get for not reading the instruction manuals that came with your Wii lol.

During a game, press the 'home' button on the Wiimote, at the bottom of the screen hover the pointer over the Wiimote iconand you can change the volume level.

-Slightly larger 1 and 2 buttons

-The ability to 'click' the analog stick on the nunchuk.

-No more batteries. At least no more that I have to keep changing every day. (Internal power source that can be charged when connected to the wii, maybe?)

-The ability to use the ****c Controller to play GameCube games.

I know that that's four things, but I'd like to see them all.

PS. Does anybody have a solution to the aforementioned battery problem?

Sounds like you could be using cheap batteries. I use Duracel and dont have to change them for nearly 2 weeks. Ive got the Nunchuka and classic controller plugged in all the time as well.

about the pink (i clicked the wrong quote thingy)- buy a silicon glove for it. it also improves the grip.

also apparently, if you google the wiimote has a secret, when they dismantled the wiimote, apparently it has a feature where it can convert voice into digital and they suspect this might come into play in future games. cool eh? like you can give it voice commands or it comes up in subtitled narration or whatever. i'm intrigued.

Yeah with the battery issue; you can get recharcge docks as an accessory and they do exactly that; you shove in these rechargable batteries, stick em in the dock, plug it into the wii while it's on and they automatically charge - never again will you open another packet of batteries. I love it. Crap why do i have three successive messages? ok i've said enough.

I would put Perminent, Rechargale batteries in the wii-mote. Also, I would put a Higher quality speaker in the Wii-mote to replace the crappy one.

i would make the analog stick a little shorter couldnt get the fast acuracy with the sniper rifle that i was used to on the g/c, volume control on the wii remote speaker would be nice, i try to play games at a lower volume when people are sleeping and all you hear is for example in loz tp was sword noises and various noises, a volume adjuster would be nice, maybe wireless connection between the analog and the wiimote.skhellitor

There is volume control on the speaker. Push the home button and you will see the meter on the top of the menu.

I would like to have analog buttons. Not sure which ones it would be through.

The + and - buttons are a bit too little small and require a bit more strength and effort to press, especially with how I have to roll my thumb to reach them. I would like them to be easier to push.

That's about it.

Nothing, nothing at all.

But i want Developers to get off their lazy asses and make some good looking games on the Wii. According to Retro developing is easy, and there is no excuse why games that look like theres cat s*** smeared on the screen exist. Im getting fed up with people taking their time for great PS3/360 games that look and play well, and we get the short end of both sticks on the wii.

Yeah it's BS. If Nintendo can do it so can other devs. They just actually have to WORK.

change the + and - buttons,

make them bigger! same with 1/2. i cant stand those stupid little things. specially the plus/minus, maybe make the plus/minus as big as the 1/2 and make the 1/2 size somewherebetween the A and the reg 1/2buttonsize

oh also the POWER button should be slightly bigger, not a ton but a little

EDIT:

also a more finger-forming B button, and on the nunchuck make the c button NOT a stupid little circle, make it an oval or something or a mini trigger...anything!

also make the wii mote more responsive between 2-5 feet. i cant stand being on the edge of my bed and having to move back a few times just so the stupid thing can read the pointer...mrrrg

sounds like i hate it, but i do like alot of things, like the fact it has a power button, and the home button is good, the speaker is pretty decent, they are a good weight and size, and easy to use.

I think there is obviouslya reason. In the begininning very few people predicted the Wii to be the success it is. Many developers said they wouldnt release games for the wii, and nowas a resultthey have had to rush their games to capitalise on the demand for new titles. As a result graphically they are nothing special and most games dont seem to work well with the Wiimote.

Nintendo havent really done anything either to be honest. Zelda and Mario soccer are both available on the 'Cube as is the Wii's other killer title, Res 4. At this rate we may as well call the Wii a gamecube turbo as I dont think we will see what its really capable of until a Grade A game built from the ground up appears on it. Smash Bros perhaps?

Now that the Wii has so much support though developers are flocking to it in droves to create original games for the Wii, these will take a while to appear given the late development time but at least somethings on the horizon.

The reason it doesn't seem to work at those distances is that it's too close for the optical sensor in the Wiimote to see both sets of IR lights on the sensor bar.

I suppose this could have been corrected if they'd made the sensor bar collapsible.

Despite what the movies may tell you, humans for the most part lack the kind of coordination needed to do something like that efficiently.

I'd bring the D-pad down a little further to be closer your thumb. I hope a third-party controller is made with this in mind. It's a hassle stretching my thumb all the way up there. However, such a setupwouldn't work well for Wii games that are played with the remote horizontally.

Put in another little plug in. Where the hell are we suppose to put a head set if the nunchuck takes up that little pug in thing on the bottom of the controller for more than like half the Wii games.

I used to use 2 Beretta 92f airsoft guns when airsofting(a bit like paintball) and it was fairly easy. Little different from using 1 gun to be honest.

Assuming that Nintendo followed the bluetooth standard to the letter, then the Wii atually has three more wireless slots available. If true, wireless headsets would be the most practical implementation.

Okay, but is it possible to independently target two seperate points at the exact same time? That's the point I'm trying to get at.

Yes of course its possible, why wouldnt it be. If you have 2 eyeballs you have peripheral vision, along with some hand eye co-ordination its really all you need.

If you have an arcade near you nip along and see if they have a light gun game. Start a 2 player game just by yourself using both guns to see how easy it is.

Which company produces the accessory you're using? Wikipedia says that Nyko and Joytech produce 'chargers' for the wiimote, but I haven't had any experience with third-party producers, so I wouldn't know which one to buy.

Also, isn't there something about not using particular types of batteries in wiimotes?

I play the "Target Range" game on Wii Play using two Wiimotes quite often, it's notnearly as hard as you'd expect.

i would like more buttons. i dont know where, but it would make it easier to put gameson the wii if they had just one morew thing they could tie to a button instead of needing motions that dont work well (it sok to have motions, but some just dont work and would be better with a button)
