I dont know if it's just me, but i'm really starting to hate it, and a miss a normal controller. The sensor bar drives me nuts half the time. Am I alone on this one? Everyone still enjoying the new controller?LakesAreCooli love it, best thing to happen to gaming in my opinion. i still like my 360 but the wii is my main gaming console now because of the controller
I really hate using old controllers now. I went back to plat Perfect Dark for the N64 and I got bored really fast.nintendofreak_2I don't hate normal controllers, but it feels really weird to go back to the GC controller, since I always sit with my hands pretty far away from eachother while playing the Wii. Normal controllers force me to sit with my hands next to eachother.. This makes me wish I could just saw the GC controller in two pieces.. :P

the same is true for me.
When ever i go back and play my 360, when ever i want to do someting (like swing a sword in Oblivion), i Move the controller for like 5 mins. before i remember that i need to press a button.
Pressing buttons is SO 2005........................

A controller is just a tool. If it's doing it's job right you shouldn't even be aware of it. The only time I get sick of a controller is if it's uncomfortable, or unresponsive, or if I take over from someone with sweaty hands, yuck! The GC controller was pretty much perfect, the only time I ever paid attention to it was when I would push the buttons too hard and make my fingers sore (usually R and L in Need for Speed). The Wii controller works great, so I never pay attention to it. Â

I didn't even realize it until last night.... I was playing The Godfather and realize I had my arms spead out and how comfortable it feels.

I want to know that the action I want to take is going to happen when I do what needs to be done to do the action.(i think thats what i wanted to say) I still don't know if the problems that have popped up on games are due to the actual Wiimote hardware or just shoddy developing.
my house is not set up for good wii playing right now. So the wiimote is just really uncomfortable. The couch is way too close the tv so it doesn't function correctly and everything's at a weird angle in my house so I can't get directly in front of the tv unless I stand.. so I am super frustrated with the wii at this point. Unless they come up with a game that's interesting (godfather and zelda... Horrible choices I should never have bought) I won't be playing much wii. I mean it's tough enough to just play the damn thing.goochtoe
Try rearanging your house as a start .

Weird. The room I have my Wii in is TINY. I sit about three-four feet from the TV, and it's never caused a problem for me at all. I was actually worried that it may cause a problem playing the Wii in such a small room, but other than bumping my hand into the edge of the TV playing baseball once it's never been a problem.

Then why did you even buy the wii in the first place?

Sometimes when I'm playing my Wii, it does get annoying to have to move my hand whenever I want to do something. I sometimes wish the good old days of just pressing a button, but not often. I see where your coming from though.

Its okay, but some games piss me off when i dont have a regular controller. They should really give people an option because this gesture thing is kinda getting old....soulfood4
I play with normal controllers just as much as I do the Wiimote, it feels fine.tomarlyn
Same here. But one time I played GT Pro Series for about 3 hours straight (pretty much completed it in those 3 hours. lol) and then decided to play Burnout for a bit. With every turn I'd go to tilt the controller before realising I had to use the analog sticks. I'd never played so bad before. lol
not really too sure how the sensor bar could drive someone "nuts". It just sits there? lol O.oCtown_Canaduhsometimes it doesn't respond
The only thing that pisses me off about the Wii controller is that there are not enough games that utilize it well.
But like others have said, I wish my other controllers were split in half. I think the Wii controller, besides moving it, is probably the most comfortable to hold as you can relax your hands pretty much anywhere.

Yeah the Wiimote can't be beaten for some genre's, I had that feeling after playing Excite Truck. It kills dual-analogue at FPS's too, far more accurate and realistic.[QUOTE="nintendofreak_2"]I really hate using old controllers now. trust me you dont i have its fun at first but it gets annoying later and if someone who doesnt know how to play comes over its an absolut waste of time to teach them ( and the graphics are TERRIBLE! no online play)i think its great in i would like to try the new madden on the wii rather than the ps3
proud wii ps3 owner
