Well games that arent party games that are good for the Wii at the moment are: Zelda, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Strikers: Charged, Super Paper Mario, The Godfather, Dragon Ball Z, Mortal Kombat: Armegeddon, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. Soon, were getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2 (32 Multiplayer online), Zack And Wiki, Battalion Wars 2 (third person shooter/RTS), Guitar Hero 3 (with online), Dragon Blade (kind of like God Of War, but less violent), dewys adventure and Manhunt 2.
Then next year some key titles coming out are Mario Kart Wii, No More Heroes, King Story (strategy/life simulator game), Civilization Revolution, Tales Of Symphonia 2, Opoona, A new RPG from Vanillaware, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Dragon Quest Swords, and a God Simulator game to be announced soon (IGN said)
Those are about mostly all the 'good' games i can think of coming out this year/next. Theres more too.

Like he said, other games may likely be announced for this year and next. Like Fighting Spirit is supposed to be coming at the end of this month. My point is, some companies reveal nothing about a game then boom! Next we know is that such and such game is almost complete and will be released soon. I say get a Wii now, you might be suprised :D. f you want a serious game where you need skill to play it, try Trauma Center, great game. And if shouters are your thing (or if it's not, try it anyway) MP3 is a great game.
There are pleanty out now, plus the many coming out next year. As of now Zelda, Metroid, Resident Evil, Super Paper Mario, Trauma Center, and more require strategy and full attention. Get the Wii because there still will be the future games listed above that will be coming.
