I realize that I may be alone i this, but this article has me worried about the experience I'll have playing MP3. Still some good stuff in there, but the good doesn't outweigh the bad for me.

Highlights:
New hunters: An early demo showcased assistance from another hunter. The developers say we will see even more new hunters in the finished product.
Multiplayer: Reportedly "not in the same context as Echoes," which really could mean anything. The popularity of Metroid Prime Hunters on DS would lead us to believe that they will include online multiplayer.
Full voice acting: A first in the Metroid series, helping to further immerse the player in a more cinematic experience.
New hunters? Assistance? Not in the same way as Echoes? To me this is screaming "Co-op". If I had to deal with multiplayer, I thought it'd be online-battle stuff, which would still be fun. But in my honest opinion, co-op play instead is taking it too far. I really like the idea of being alone in the game. Not taking orders n' crap. I thought Samus was a bounty hunter who took jobs for the Galactic Federation; I didn't know she was a part of it. They're trying to turn Metroid into Halo, and I'm uncomfortable with that.
As for voice-acting, the game is more immersive when I can think my own thoughts, not what the main character says. That's one of the reasons why I like Link being quiet.
Of course, that's just MY opinion.
