monster hunter 3 ultimate.... you will be addicitive...patch coming this month for off tv play and worldwide online hunting.

and the graphics are so pretty....yea batman, mass effect might have better tech graphics...but honestly its the best looking game i have on wiiU. so crisp and clear..check my blog to see which games i have.

new patch coming this month also to make you wiiU much faster when checking your friends list exiting a game or hoping on miiverse...

use your wiiU as a true portable console...forget vita and its watered down games... now you have a real console game in your hands!

bad at fighting games?  no problem wiiu gamepad has programmable 1 touch moves...time to own some pros!

lol..hows that for a sales pitch?  :P

Wonderful 101 should be releasing in Summer (I'm fairly sure).

No one knows when Project X is coming though, but trust me you'll know as soon as it's announced. I'm guessing it'll be in 2014, although possibly 2015 if it's not being translated during development, but I'm shooting in the dark.

This is the biggest problem I have right now. We get all these amazing announcements but nothing has release dates. Not even Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 which are suppose to be releasing pretty soon, supposedly.

The GamePad is the most convenient piece of tech for console gaming. Off-tv play, universal remote, multiplayer enhancements and other minor features some games benefit from. And there's no doubt that developers in the future will find innovative ways to use it. Seriously, people overlook it and accuse it of being a pathetic gimmick. That's hardly the case.

k2theswiss

I would wait

Wii U is failing globally and Nintendo has to do something to fix it.

That means some sort of incentive program. We've already seen them bundle things together offering free controllers and such, expect something more.

Right now there's no games worth paying full price for so why pay the most you possibly can when it doesn't have software?

Let the market make itself attractive to you, don't buy the console just so you can have a console with no games to play.

Great deal if it's the deluxe model with all the accessories. Yeah, and good for you for not being a dummy and paying $300. So many people I know actually pay the amount that is asked without bartering at all. You are supposed to barter on craigslist lol, hell I bartered for a diamond ring at the mall two days ago lol.

dont give up on okami...some people couldn't get adjust to the controls. the mr. orange tree bloom part is the 1st struggle with the controls.... took me like 40 min...

you might do it on your first try though... if you can get past this part you should have no trouble beating the game...though there is one part where you might need to use a phone to record the screen...thats what i had to do... its towards the end...it has nothing to do with the controls...its all about memorization.

the circle motion (bloom command) is the hardest thing to do in the game imo... sometimes it works...sometimes it doesnt.

the trick to doing all the brush strokes is to do the them fast..taking your time is pretty worthless.

If you have the option for the original version, you could always return it and get that one. It had fabulous controls (due to the creators making that version and have nothing to do with the Wii port).

It was a PS2 game made by the legendary Hideki Kamiya who created Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, and others. The game was designed by the legend Kamiya and his team around a dual analog scheme. Years later Okami was ported to Wii, however, it was ported by a western handheld developer, Ready at Dawn, hired by Capcom.

It's a good game on Wii, but it's best if you find the original due to the controls issue.

The Handheld sequel came far later, and more recently to the west in 2011.

So i am interested in picking up a wii u.

Tell me about the wii u! features/games worth looking into

Let the market make itself attractive to you, don't buy the console just so you can have a console with no games to play.

too late. Picked one up off craigslist for $260 with super mario bros. I had to bargain with him for a while has his first price was $300. Anyways i wouldn't buy it if i wasn't interested in it

like solidty says...the original might be a good buy too if you cant handle the wii version.

but ps2 plays at 480p or even 1080i....but on wiiu you can play okami at 1080p...im sure it will look prettier on wiiU.

I hope he likes it on Wii, it's a great fun time once you get past a few issues. He could pop it in his Wii U. I have it on PS2 and Wii, I had fun with both.

I was even considering getting Okami HD port on PS3 yet again, but I wanted a discount, and I haven't seen a deal yet.
