internet browser problem (black top)

nobody? knows y my internet browser has like 1.5 - 2.0 inches on the top of my screen and its all black? it like something is supposto be there>? no 1 knows

Ha I only just noticed that, maybe its to stop any parts of the page being hidden. Sometimes CRT displays can skew the corners. Off topic I`ve been using the browser a lot the last few days, got my finger caught in my PC`s CPU fan and all hell broke loose, I feared for my life :o Must buy a new one.

The homepage does this because of certain ads and things. You need to go directly to this forum and bookmark it, still crashses but very rarely.

Actually there is a problem. Yeah, I didnt know if it was just because I had an HDTV, but I dont know how they missed this... "little" bug. Seriously, come on Opera. I use opera on my mac, but I really dont like it on my Wii.

That Black area in the Safe Zone, it's the area that Opra isn't allowed to display past because most TVs will hide that area by Overscaning the picture. Some TVs overscan by as much as 10%, especially if they are under 25". All video game systems have this boarder but some have a bigger boarder if the system is lower res or the game is, also sometimes they will increase some of the boarder to help a game run better. In this case the area was extended some to help keep any Inportant text from being cut off up there. Opera will hopefully have a Centering option in the full v1.0 Browser release at the end of this month.

Yup, my browser also has the black space at the top.  I just noticed it when I hooked up my component cables.

i dunno what ur talking about mine has no black on top or bottom or sides im running it on a 16 9 widescrren philips 30 inch mine does refresh on alot of sites and goes back to home they said in the official browser this will be fixed.
