Hi everybody I wanted to make thisforum so everyone can give some comments on the goods and bads of Action Replay.... also the consiquences with wifi and stuff like that. comments on all DS games are allowed.
I say as long as you don't use your hacks for benefit onlinethen your fine. In pokemon its alright if you state its hacked beforeyou trade it to somebody.
i only used action replay to get the legendaries from events and im not trading them over wifi, and also for the TM's... i used my infernape i got from the drop masterball to pokemon number trick on wifi battle, but i didnt do nay other hacks to make him stronger... im just curious of how nintendo can spot this stuff. i heard that poeple got banned from diamond and pearl already for the "catch all 493 pokemon cheat." is that cheat the same as the"drop masterball to pokemon number cheat?"
its just a rumor but i hear it everywhere... they ban people from wifi that use specific action replay cheats. so can someone answer my question please :)
i didn't know you can play multiplayer or wifi with action replay, i tried it with mario kart with my friend, and the screen said both of us were 1st =P
It's certaily screwed up my Pearl version, Ive beaten the 7th badge and now i can't find the galactics at lake Acuity cuz obviously the stupid thing has retarded the story line, i used it to get pokemon at the beggining of teh game and that wen tfine but then i used it to get my pokemon to lv 50 usin rare candy's and now the thing won't continue with the story.
the only problem i had with it was the pins were the usb went on the back of the unit snapped, i did notice if u put to much codes on some games it crashes some times. But it never messed up my pokemons
Heres an idea ... Why dont you play games the way they were intended to be played ??? No cheats.. Its a shame that all the gamers punk teenagers today think that playing with cheats is so cool... Games were intended to challenge you and give you a sense of accomplishment when you beat it... Beat the game first without cheats .. To many people nowadays get a new game and the first thing they do is plug in the action replay.. What a crying shame.. You are the ones who ruin gaming.. Next thing you know , you will go get a R4 or TTDS and pirate your games... You know who you are...
I agree with the above comment. My friend wants every single one of his pokemon to be shiny. And that is not fair to me who has got 2 legitamately.(zubat and drowzee for those interested)CHEATERS MAKE THOSE WHO PLAY FAIR LOOK BAD. I think Nintendo should find a way to COMPLETELY ban you if caught using an Action Replay.
