Is Animal Crossing:Wild World Childish Game?

I was plannig to buy a virtual life game for DS.Most of the people recommend Animal Crossing as the best virtual life game for DS.But from screenshots it looks very childish.Is it meant for small kids or Teenagers can play it like me.

Please help?

Is it "kiddy?" Yeah, kinda-sorta. But not in an embarrassing, patronizing sort of way. I'm 30 and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Well more like they're not recommended to, but a lot are mature enough for it.

It was the first game I ever got for my DS (came in the bundle) and I loved it.

But if you're interested in this type, may I suggest a game that just came out - Magician's Quest. (Think AC 2.0 with a LOT more to do as well as a lot of mysteries to solve.) I'm really enjoying it.

Or if you're concerned about the "cuteness factor" - try Rune Factory 1 or 2.
