Is anyone else worried about so many peripherals?

Sure the zapper and the wheel and even the fit board are pretty cool. I might even get some of them, but only because they will be packaged with games I will purchase anyways. I'm all for nintendo putting out this stuff out, but if it means a game will cost $20 more just because it has some piece of plastic with it, I'd rather have the game cheaper. I wouldglady pay for something that really added to the gameplay, and I don't think either either the zapper or the wheel are it.Nintendo should sell these things independantly and not force us to shell out more money on already expensive controllers.

Does anyone else agree with me, or am I just ranting?

i doubt games will be $70 with the pack-in, although if it does and the option to just buy the game is unavailable, then you are right... it would suck.

we should first see how things are priced though before we go ranting about this possible problem.

Ya i'm worried, cause it could be "the biggest" system out there, cause it would take up the most room.

1. Even IF a couple games did end up being $60-$70 with a peripheral packed-in, that's equal to the amount you'll pay for a game alone on other systems.

2. The Zapper is just a piece of plastic that the remote and nunchuk fit into to make it feel more like a gun. It won't be mandatory for any games. Period.

3. There's been no word yet on whether the wheel will be mandatory for Mario Cart (or any other game). I would assume the game can be played without it.

4. The balance board thing could have some awesome uses. It could make a game like Tony Hawk incredible... but I'm betting that if it is implemented in such ways it will be an optional thing.

5. Regarding the board and the wheel, there's too little information to get all worried about things already. Calm down, be patient, and see what happens...

The other wii bundle peripherals didn't cost more then any other Wii games. Wii play was a ten dollar game bundled with a wiimote.

I doubt the price will rise that much. It's not Guitar Hero which makes money based on peripherals. Have you looked at the price for rock band?

A agree that a bunch of this stuff would be really fun to have. I hadn't even thought about a Tony Hawk/fit board pairing, though that could probably work pretty well. I'm just saying that I don't want to feel like I neet to buy five different parts to a single controller.
