Is anyone here going to buy Super Street Fighter IV 3D?

It kind of has me thinking, if you own it for one of the consoles then what would be the purpose of getting it on the 3DS? Unless you are a hardcore fighting fan in which I am not but I do play them here and there. Or you are mainly a handheld gamer that doesn't have any consoles. But if you do own it for a console then what would be your reason for buying it on the 3DS? Just so you can take it on the go and such?

Im going to be getting it, though I dont already have it. But even if I did have it on console, I would still get it because SSFIV 3D edition has some perks to it that its console verson doesnt have, such as the street pass features and the 3D fighting mode (it has both the traditional view and 3D view). Also, the people who are first to buy SSFIV (or is it preorder?...) will get the game in a special case that is 3D.

Yep, first game I'm getting on release day. I love SSF4, I have it for 360 and play it quite often, so a portable version is a must for me.

It's easily the best 3DS game at the moment and at first i was sold but now i just cant do it. I had vanilla SF4 and now i have SSF4 so im not really dying to drop more money into SF. There also the issue of controls. I consider myself an advanced player player and i just cant imagine pulling off the thoughest stuff with 3DS controls, their hard enough already to do with a fight stick. Also, I've heard using the lite mode can lead to some crazy stuff like doing charge attacks without charging leading to some insane combos. No doubt that's is gonna be the mode of choice for many. Lastly, is wear and tear on the system. Id freak if i ended up breaking the circle pad trying to pull off an FADC or something.

Overall just a ton of stuff putting me off it.

I would say that 90% or more of people buying a 3DS are getting SSFIV. I have only seen a few say they aren't, but this seems to be the most popular (best title so far as well)for the launch. As well, I am getting it and this will be the first Street Fighter game I have played in a while, so thanks to the 3DS, I will be resurged to play it. And I am happy to say that. I am not the best at fighting games and not good at Street Fighter games, but I enjoy them and I definitely know I will on the 3DS

I think I will as I haven't pre ordered any games with my 3ds so I will have to look into buying some games fro it next week. I will most probably by street fighter and what ever else appeals to me ( depending on the financial situation lol ).

I had bought street fighter 4 for the 360, but didnt enjoy because it was to hard, so i sold it. But i have decided to give it another chance as i have fond memories of street fighter 2 as a kid. Super street fighter 4 3d has enough new features to give it another go like light mode,challenges,3d perspective and 3d graphics. I have it pre-ordered with my 3ds and really looking forward to it.

Yeah I'm getting it at launch. I have SF4 and SSF4 for xbox 360 but how can pass up playing it on my break at school. Think aabout it!! Walk out of calculus just wanting to relax and play some Street fighter but you have a half an hour till English and BAM!!! Pull out SSF4 and improve your whole day!

i said i would never buy sf4 because it looked too slow and boring..well i finally bought it a couple weeks ago..

my stance is that im not getting for the 3ds....lets see if its true.

I def am getting it day 1, already pre-ordered. Im a huge SF fan, I have the other versions of the game as well and to me this is an investment. Not only will one of my favorite fighters reach an even larger audience but now I have a new online community to battle with, new 3d graphics and over shoulder gameplay, figure collecting and battling, and being able to experience the first full fighting experience on a Nintendo handheld :)

1) Finally a good fighter on the go.

2) Street Fighter on the go.

3) Street Fighter IV on the go.

Now let me explain. The only good fighter that was on the DS was an IMPORT from Japan called Jump Ultimate Stars and while I still play it to this day, I have wanted a good Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat on handhelds for a LONG time. (PSP ones almost hit the mark but fell short)

Street fighter is a fantastic way to have a fighter AND it helps that it is Street Fighter IV who has my favorite character Juri in it, and it is my favorite gameplay wise out of the entire series. So without a question I am getting it launch day instead of Nintendogs or any of the other randoms.

Well I own SSF4 and played the hell out of SF4. One of the reasons I am getting it again is because I can play it at work on break online (I work alot too) plus I can learn more characters on the go. The other reason is that if enough people buy this game then Capcom will put MORE fighting games on the system. I would love a Marvel Vs Capcom 3 or Tatsunoko Vs Capcom 2! Think about it guys!

Yeah the 3d effects make the depth perception more rich in the classic gameplay. The fighters will stand out more from the background and during ultra specials the camera pans around and pops out certain attacks. This is how I really wana play the game!

Nope. Only fighter I am getting for the 3DS is Blazblue CSII.
