Is Donkey Kong Jungle Beat fun?

i was thinking about getting it for the GC or the wii, i don't know which one is better . so for those who played the game is it wroth it? (i loved all the old donkey kong games, i don't know why i never got this one)

One of the best Gamecube games ever made, and it uses the NGC bongo drums. But, you're talking about the Wii version. I don't know what kind of peripheral is used with that version, but yes, it's a very fun platformer. A great game just like the original DKC games on the SNES, and I highly recommend it.

The game was built for the bongos, so get the GCN version.

the gamecube one use's the bongos and the wii version plays like a traditional platformer.

i havent played the original GC version with the drums.. but the wii version is a lot of fun. you probably can't go wrong either way...!

Its a great game that was severely overlooked, definitely a game you should check out.

I have the Wii version, but get the GC version for the bongo drums.

Wii version is better IMO.

the Bongo controls were crap I just couldnt get used to it.

Wii version also had a better combo system and 2 new stages;)

I really loved the GC version but I feel the wii version is superior! being able to control my wave blasts and the fighting is much more fun.
