Is it a good idea for Super Smash Bros to be on the 3ds.?

Hey. As we all know Super Smash Bros is coming for the Wii U and the 3ds. I love the idea and all but do you guys think we will get a watered down version of SSB on the 3ds compared to the HD visuals on the WII U. I want SSB to be on the 3ds but I want it to be a good game. I have even thought about buying the Wii U but I really don't plan to because the 3ds is good enough for me with all the Nintendo goodness. Do you guys think we will get a watered down version for the 3ds.

Obviously the graphics will be downgraded, but it will still look great. The WiiU version will offer HD, 3DS version will offer 3D. Both version will have similar controls though. The Wii U controller + your TV screen is just a big 3DS without the 3D (unless you own a 3D TV).

3DS has the tools, so yeah it's a good idea.

I don't like the idea, but I have confidence that Nintendo can make it work.

Sure it's a good idea. Why not? It may not be as good as the Wii Uversion, but it gives people an extra option. How could that be a bad thing?

I felt the exact same about PSP games. All of its games resembles greatly to the console experience but compared to them, it was lackluster in every way. I don't know what to think of the portable Smash Bros. If they somehow make it unique from the console version than it will do well. We'll just have to see.

I'm settling that problem by buying both. 3DS might be enough for you, but not for me. :P
