False, there are many valid complaints. Way too easy, and cut and paste design of past games come to mind immediately.

They walk a fine line with Zelda. If it's too different from previous games people complain about it, if it's too similar to previous games people still complain about it. Obviously it has to be similar because of how great past Zeldas were. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. However, while they must be similar to past titles in the franchise, there has to be enough new material to keep the series fresh. TP didn't have enough new ideas. Other complaints include the huge world being far too empty and skewed (they might as well have made the world the same size as OoT's), the puzzles and bosses being far too easy, the storyline not feeling as fresh or epic, the free-roam being much too restricted until late in the game, the wolf gameplay being too tedious, etc. It's a solid game and Zelda is my favorite franchise, but for some of us (especially those of us that have played through every Zelda title) it was still a disappointment.
At least you said it was a solid game and aren't one of those people who said it was one of the worst games ever. However I have played every Zelda game at least 3 times (in some cases over 20 times) and I was very impressed with Twilight Princess. My only complaint about the game was that it didn't have enough sidequests, but I prefer the dungeons anyway and it did a very good job on it. I also thought the story was one of the best Zeldas. I actually thought this game was hardest of the 3D Zeldas (not that that is saying much though as they are all easy). Besides this argument is old, I remember people complaining that OOT was a ripoff of A Link To The Past and yet that didn't stop it from being one of the best games ever.
