Is Lunar Knights good? Bad? I might get this game.

Hi, from what little I heard, it seems that Lunar Knights was considered good by some people, but for some reason, it wasn't graded that high on gamespot. So, I read the review, and it seemed to be a strong title. From playing it, is it a good game?

Its okay. Not the best game in the world, but its got high production values and it's fun. Get it if you like action rpgs.

Anyway, yeah its definitely a buy. It has great production values, a decent story and a fun combat system.

i think its GREAT the only problem it has is that sometimes after u beat a boss u hav to go in a spaceship a fight some enemies, theyr not BAD but ar like out of place

Wierd? one button to hit, mutliple button presses, makes the attack in a 3 attack chain combo, block with one button, and lock on with the R button. Seems way to simple if you ask me. :P

I don't mean simple, I saw only a few videos, and it reminds me of the secrets of mana combat system. OK, so does anyone else think this is a good game, because i'm thinking about buying it. This isn't important info, but the DS doesn't seem to have very many good RPGs.

if ur looking for a solid RPG Lunar knights isnt the way to go.. as its more action rpg... try FF III

Lunar Knightswas one of my first ds games i got and i liked it untill i beat it. The replay value isn't that good. It is pretty sweet, the only things bad about it(besides replay value) isthat the graphics weren't that good(2d) and you have to train alot to get by bosses and get the weapons upgraded. I'm making it sound kinda bad but it is a long good game that will keep you playing it untill your done will the story.

Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with FF3. If you really want a good rpg, I would wait for Project Exile in March. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin will be out soon and might be a better way to spend your money. As for Lunar Knights, I looked into the game at one point and time but was advised not to get it...so I'm going to do the same for you.

Then again, do what you want...it's your money.

PROJECT EXILE ALL THE WAY. Closest thing to Secret of Mana i have seen in a loooong time (as far as graphics are concerned. i canNOT wait.. :D)

Arrrgh, now I don't know if I want to buy it or not. Wait, is it true that sometimes the game can get boring with all that hacking n slashing? it seems like a game that might involve a lot of that, and become boring as a result of it. Is it?

There is alot of hack and slash but you can new wepons and upgrade the ones you have and when you upgrade you get an extended combo of attacks and the reason it looks gbaish is probably because they needed romm to put the special cutscences in it which looks like an anime show like bleach, the graphics are that good. The sword guy can get a sythe and use it in a cool way I own the game and I recomend you buy it but I do agree the replay value isn't very good but you can switch between characters to mix it up to get through the fights and the story is good if it had wifi it would be a must have game.

It's a pretty decent rpg, its not the best, but it will keep you busy for a couple weeks. I thought it was a little too easy.

well i just bought it at gamestop for 15 dollars (pre owned version) and its actually pretty decent... i can tell a lot of thought was put into the game but it felt like a rich kids shining soul... not totally a bad thing ...
