I thought it was, but I'm not sure. Is Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles multiplayer?
Yes it is multiplayer co-op. In some screenshots you can see two targeting reticles, one red and one blue, meaning that unless you have four hands/arms, more than one person can shoot zombies.
