Is the first Dementium any good?

I know the new Dementium (2) is coming out soon for $30, but Amazon is selling the original for less than $10. Is it worth the price?

Also, how will Dementium 2 be different than the original?

YES!!! This game is a must buy, for only ten bucks that's a steal! It is one of my favorite games on the DS.

If you don't mind a crappy save system then you should be fine, I didn't really care for the game though, number 2 is awesome though.

Save system a lot better, no respawning enemies, and the story is very much improved!!!

I'm playing through Dementium: The Ward before I pick up Dementium 2. As others have said, the poor save system and enemies that re-spawn every time you re-enter an area can both be quite frustrating, but they don't ruin the game. If I'm low on ammo and I'm dealing with re-spawning enemies I try to just run past them and get back to where I was. Overall, I'm enjoying it so far. I also got it for $10, and I think it was well worth it.

It's a great game that's ruined by the save and check point system. I know the save system problem was addressed in international releases of the game; so if you live in Europe then there's really nothing glaringly wrong with the title.
