Its a good wii game, graphics are o.k, storyline great, ot's open ended... But it also has some irritating parts, like the fact that there is someone shooting at you all the time, either police or other families members.
but its got awesome motion / gesture controls on foot. fighting is brilliantly done. u lock onto ur ennemy with z, then u pucnh him by swinging the nunchuk and wiimote in a fist / boxing motion. then u can bash the guy against a wall or table by moving both wiimote/nunchuk downwards or side ways, and throwing him out through a window w/ a throwing gesture. and if for some reason he survives (unlikely) use precision targeting with wiimote to finish him off. the weapons available are pretty good - they are upgradable but costly - so u gotta make alot of money, and wats the funnest way to make money? imo, its robbing banks - so excting - u either rob and get away with about 100K or u get killed and get nothing and wake up at the police station. also, rival gans / families will attack u, so u can have plenty of shootouts. u take over rival safehouse = big gun fights so plenty to do. and for 30$? definate buy.
With the good responses i think im gonna go buy it. I called family video, blockbuster, and hollywood video and none of these rental places have it. So i thnk since a ton of people like it and i love these kinds of games, i think im gonna go buy it.
its realy fun and good game i have it and i am the don of new york but theres 1 thing theres realy not much to do after you beat every thing. its a steal for 30 dollars.
