The game "Soma Bringer" is supposed to be similar to Diablo in terms of gameplay style. However, it hasn't seen a North American release (but if you're an importer, you might want to check it out).

Dungeon Explorer is probably the best example...

Then there's also Justice League Heros (if its anything like the console versions), Contact, Children of Mana, and Phantasy Star Zero is coming...

Well, try "summon night: twin age". You have a skill tree, just like in Diablo II, and you must level up in order to get new spells, etcIt has plenty of enemies to kill. Well, its not the same as Diablo II, but you can have some fun with it.

It's not a DS game, but take a look at Lord of the Rings: Return of the King or Two Towers on the GBA. Both are like Diablo, and I enjoyed both.

I've heard that From The Abyss is a somewhat decent dungeon crawler.

Personally? I'm looking at Master of the Monster Lair.

I played From the Abyss. It's an ok game. Nothing to get excited for, but nothing too bad either.

Also try Deep Labyrinth, Mystery Dungeon: SHiren the Wanderer - both are cheap and are about as close to an Action-RPG you are going to get with the DS

FFCC: Ring of Fates.

I actually told my brother that its Diablo for DS minus gore, skill tree and online multiplayer but its still good.

Echo's of Time is going to fix the online multiplayer so that would be more like Diablo then the first (second?).

Echo's comes out soon (if not already) in Japan and should be out by March in the US. Its definatly a title for a Diablo fan :)

Oh yeah and Ring of Fates is already out heh :p

Deep Labyrinth? I don't see how that is like Diablo-- and I've never even played Diablo. (Though I have played Deep Labyrinth) Deep's a first person Dungeon crawler, with little detail to skill development. In my opinion, not that great of a game either. I think Dungeon Explorer is as close of a call (again, I'm not to familar with the minor formalities of Diablo) as you'll get without having to Import.

You need to buy a psp to complement that ds. The ds as far as I can see has no diablo type ARPG game(I just got my ds today! And looked all through the library and nothing d2 like) On psp i have dugeon siege: throne of Agony, dungeon explorer:ancient arts, untold legends 1 and 2, dungeon maker 1 and 2...all diablo 2/champions of norwrath type games... Hopefully there will be some that come to the ds, but I doubt it..the ds seems to be doing very good for traditional jrpgs though.

Soma Bringer (import) Phantasy Star - future release that has promise. Lord of the Ring games for GBA are very hack-n-slash friendly. True hp/mp bars, stat attributes, and skill trees. Hack n' slash is my favorite genre (or action-RPG if you're politically correct) so I'm always looking for that one game. But I believe world69 had the best suggestion and that's a PSP. Or, if you haven't figured out, the PS2 has a dozen or so dungeon crawlers, but only a few offer that true "diablo clone" feel.

Sorry but I don't think a DS has one of those. But it does have a dungeon crawling, loot grabbing dungeon RPG but it's turnbased. There is actually three.

Izuna: Legend of the Unemloyed Ninja

Izuna 2: The Unemlpoyed Ninja Returns

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer
