Depends on how much you want to play the game, I guess. I got the Wii for the Zelda, Mario and Metroid series, and I'm sure there will come other great games for it too. If Zelda was the only good game coming out for the Wii, I would've got the GC version instead. The game is definitely worth playing, but I don't think it's worth it to buy any console for only one game.

I would say no.  Especially if you can borrow a the ps3 or the 360 to a friend in exchange for a Wii.  Or sell one of those 2 and get a wii.  I can see having a 360 or ps3 but not both since many games will overlap and the graphics are comparable.  The wii on the otherhand is in a different market.

No. Get the GC version if you are only interested in this game. Assuming you already have a GC that is.

I'm also getting a Wii for Zelda, Metroid and Mario. Anything else down the road is a bonus. But it's inexpensive enough to get it at any time really.

hmm nice. i agree with most of u, as one game alone isnt worth a system, but mario and metroid should also b good like someone said (i had them for GC but sold everything), so i guess ill get the Wii. and even if i dont end up playin it that much, it can always goto my lil sister cuz she wants one lol.

Zelda is not worth buying the wii just for that, the wii will eventually gain better games, however if you plan to give it to your sister if you're bored with it, why not, its your little sister

Not just for that game... however there are plenty of other good games, and while you may initially buy the system for 1 game, i'm sure you'll find other games that you like.

ocarina of time is better. tp is still worth buying a wii for... and you get wii sports which is enough fun to pay 250 for.

Get the Wii, and get Twilight Princess, for right now, you might call it getting the Wii just for that game. But when time goes on, and Nintendo comes out with some solid titles, you'll be glad you got one.

no i don't think so. for some reason TP didn't captivate me as much as OoT did, and i actually liked the cel-shaded graphics in wind waker more than the traditional style.

just wait awhile 'till better games come out and then buy one.  by then they'll be easier to get a hold of.

Depends on your taste. You could always just get it for Gamecube.

But there's also a bunch of other good games out for Wii, with more on the way.

To be honest No...not for that reason alone. For me what I like the most so far about this system are the channels and the VC. The games right now arent really impressing me...no not because of graphics, but because of the titles themselves. There are only 3-4 others games im actually considering getting. So if i could go back in time, i would have not gotten the wii...well at least NOT YET.

NO! twilight princes alone is not worth it, especially if you expect something better than oot, you'll get very dissapointed, anyway it's a great game but the wii has a lot of good games like wario ware, super paper mario, re4, super mario galaxy and mp3

I jumped on the Wii bandwagon at launch because of Twilight Princess and I'd definitely recommend it. That said, I never recommend buying a console for just one game. If you like Nintendo's other franchises as well though, it's certainly worth it. Metroid Prime 3 is awesome, SMG is awesome, Super Paper Mario was a great game, RE 4 is another great one if you haven't played it before.

I would say no, I played the game, and after ive done everything once, I just found it to boring to replay. but if your going to get a Wii, wait for Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Thats the original reason I got a Wii, just to play TP, now I've got several other games to play. I think it may be worth it, but believe me once you get the Wii, there will be several other games that will catch your eye(SMG, MP3, SSMB, GH3, Bwii)

No. Getting a console for one game is somewhat odd unless that game has replayability which Twilight Princess definately does not have.

Just get the Gamecube version if you have a GC. If not, then just wait till more Wii games get your interest. Then get it along with Zelda.

Zelda is a great game, but I don't think it's worth justifying buying a console for this one game.

Yeah it's worth it. Once you get a Wii you will find yourself getting more and more games for it not just Zelda. Throw away your 360and ps3 and make room for the real fun.

I thought about doing that. But then I told myself that it's not smart to get a gaming console just so I can play one game that I like. I did that in the last generation of gaming and regretted it.

Don't buy a system for only one game. If you REALLY want Zelda TP, then sure, get the Wii. But don't let that be the only reason. There are plenty of other good games for it, and plenty more coming... like the new Smash Bros.

No game is worth buying a console, just to play that one single game. I'd say that a Wii is worth buying, and that Twilight Princess is worth buying. However, if it's the only game you plan on playing, then don't bother with it.

Definately not. Anyone who says otherwise is a fanboy.

You can get a Gamecube if you really want to play it that badly.

As soon as I got the game for the Wii, I saw that it was an EXCEEDINGLY good game. However, getting a Wii just for this one game wouldn't be worth it. But, I do reccomend getting a Wii, since Twilight Princess and many more amazing games came out for the Wii, and more will be, too!

I actually waited in line 3 days to get the wii. I was the very first on in line at launch. And I literally bought the system just for zelda. Just like I bought a xbox for only halo.
