It's the best Zelda game out there so I would think it'd be worth getting. It's only "kiddy" as you let it be.Dark_Link142I second that emotion, happens to be my all time favorite Zelda game, and by that, my all time favorite game.
How is this the wrong forum,, I own a Wii and would be playing it on a Wii. digitalman42Lol, but it is a GC game. I think it should to be in the Legacy forums, tbh.
I can undertsand why a "kiddy" game can be a problem. You want it to have a deep story and deep gameplay, and kiddy games may not offer that. As for Windwaker, it does have a pretty juvenile feel with the characters and dialogue. However, the gameplay and story rank up there amongst the other great Zelda games. While imo it is the weakest of the 3d Zeldas (the sailing is boring and towards the end of the game there are some tedious objectives), it is still a worth while purchase.nakasa5Perhaps but this isnt a barbie explorer game this is Zelda, if you have ever played a Zelda before you know what your getting. Even implying that the games is for kids comes solely from the way that it looks which is ridiculous.

Although Link is usually a boy, he is more like a child in this game than any other. Sure the graphics are part of it, but it is also evident in the dialogue, music, and overall feel of the game. The graphics are beautiful, but they are also one component to an overall juvenile game relative to other Zelda titles. I'd like to a point out that I did recommend the game though.
[QUOTE="zaku101"]I don't remember him saying Wind Waker.Dark_Link142You are a sharp one. :POh, you silly guys. Anyways, you definitely shouldn't pass up the WindWaker just because of its cartoon visuals. As you go along, you will see that the graphics allow for a level of detail and style impossible in a "realistic" Zelda, and that they definitely add to the whole experience. The WindWaker is probably the best 3D zelda since Ocarina of Time, and it's almost certainly better than Twilight Princess. Don't hesitate to pick up that sucker today!
