To me it seems like the ds library has become dry. for the top selling system it has no games, is it just me? please message some games that you think will be good and are coming out soon. thanks:D
ever since SNES all ive heard is how awesome this crono game is, and it was just announced, i was a genesis gamer so i never played it but i think im gonna pick it up for DS just to see what all the talks about, other than that i dont know any game coming out that im interested in
Chrono Trigger alone is worth getting or having a DS for. I been waiting for this day since the GBA days. I own multiple copies already for the Super Nes, but just to have on go. Wow For young kids i think its great you get a chance to play prob one of the greatest games of the 90's. Its not like the ultimate hardcore Rpg, but it just does everything right.

Dude, i think (s)he is talking about how ppl who didn't play SNES much never got to play it. I wasn't into RPGs during the SNES era, so this interests me.
Yeah I feel the same way you do. There's only 3 games that interest me. They are: Pokemon Platinum, Robocalypse and Disgaea DS (and I hate most JRPGs but I need something, sheesh).
No its not just you, in my opinion the DS game library is overrated, its not even close to being as good as the GBA game library and I doubt any portable will ever have one as good as the GBA's. The DS has been out now for a couple years now and I would say it has less than 15 games that truly interest me or get me excited in any way, where as the GBA had at least 40. The DS is very capable and I am extremely happy its backwards compatible with GBA games, but honestly game developers are getting lazy and more focused on making games that have familiar characters rather than making truly good games.

There are quite a few DS games coming out this year that I want.
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Izuna 2, Spore Creatures DS, Disgaea 2, Fire Emblem 2, the newly-announced Chrono Trigger(which I have yet to play), FFIV, V, And VI, the Dragon Quest remakes(which I have also never played) and anything announced at E3 in a week or so. ..nope, can't see anything I want..only something each month till Christmas! *rolls eyes*
For a little while it looked like it was going stale, but it's had it's fair share of blockbusters. Final Fantasy Tactics A2 if you need a recent example, The World Ends With You before that.
i think nintendo is too obsessed with having every single game, have SOOO much 'touch-screen' stuff all the time its annoying, and they can't jus come out with a game that has regular controlsjust because the touch screen is there
same thing goes for the mic, like 'rock out' in guitar hero on tour WTF!?
I agree with the TC, while most of the games people are listing are good, other then FFIV which comes out fairly soon, most of the titles don't have dates or aren't coming out for a long time.
Support isn't lackluster, its just that you're not interested in anything. Bangai-O Spirits, FF IV, Castlevania, Metal Slug 7, Chrono Trigger, Bleach, Sonic, N+, Viva Pinata, and some Ninty support are all launch titles for me, not to mention I still have to find a few titles that have already come out this year.
Hahahaha. You are kidding right? If you are serious and nothing interests you, branch out a little bit. Take some risks. Theres plenty of good games out there that have nothing to do with Square Enix.
Well lets see whats coming out that interests me: Bleach Dark Souls, Chrono DS (I have the emulator for this but hey why not pick up the portable), Castelvania OoE, the Kirby remake. If you can't find anything new coming out then just take a lookback at older games.
am jus lookin fer the new castlevania and may be sonic if it gets good reviews.....they should seriously bring out some kind of official snes emulator or something it would be sooooooo much more easier and sooooo much more cooler...
I also can't wait for FFIV since I haven't played it, and Chrono Trigger since I didn't finish the game on SNES. The Sonic game also looks interesting.
I think there is a lot of great games coming out. Castlevania:Order of Ecclesia, Dragon quest 4, Black Sigil:Blade of the Exiled, Final Fantasy 4, kingdom hearts 352/2, Pokemon Platinum, and of course Chrono Trigger. You can probably tell that I love RPGs;)
Don't be such a pessimist, there are tons of great games coming out soon this year and the next year, if you are talking about right now, then there are still good past games u can get like Final fantasy & Twewy; all game systems suffer the same problem but the DS is in better shape; also don't forget E3
