How does it make it more epic? I'm not asking to be a jerk or anything, I'm honestly asking. I've never played online with a mic, and all I've heard about playing with mics is there's a lot of trash talking and name calling and whatever else.PoppyJerk
Gotta say this is pretty much my feelings on Nintendo bringing out a Wii headset. I know there is a demand for them, but honestly, I never used the Xbox one. When I'd play Halo 2, I'd hear nothing but swearing, useless crap, and the worst jokes ever! I always just muted it or took it off completely; didn't enhance the gameplay, just annoyed the hell out of me.
While I couldn't be certain, I'd think that if Nintendo got a headset, eventually the games would devolve to that level of annoying. Smash Bros. players can be very competitve and..."excited" when they start playing. A few fast-paced matches can instantly ruin that family friendly atmosphere Nintendo worked so hard for. Next thing you know, we'd be reading articles about angry parents writing letters to Nintendo about the company teaching their children how to swear. So I think that there shouldn't be a headset, or if there is, there should be some sort of censoring feature the player can turn on...which, knowing Nintendo, there probably would be.
