All you would hear over the mic would be trash, if there were online co-op I would understand.
That aside,a couple of questions:
What if you were playing someone from Japan? Halo pretty much only americans only play so no problem there.
How is typing in a twelve digit code "torture"?

LOL! I've been asked that so many times, anyone who is there posted in this tread without reading the original post. Not a bad thing just a joke.

with brawls release coming up in a couple of months, and still no announcment of a mic... i know that both you and me are starting to get worried that there will be no mic... Yesterday, they announced that you can edit your own little sayings/comebacks/taunts (whatever you want to call them...)

i think that if Nintendo doesn't include a mic. they will make a HUGE mistake. One big reason thatI didn't buyMedal of Honor Heroes 2, is because the lack of a mic.

A mic just makes the feeling so much more... EPIC

what do you guys think? will they include a mic?

I mean theyre using friendcodes, thatsENOUGH torture nintendo!!!

I don't think it's a mistake. Nintendo caters to both casuals and hardcores now. If they allowed trash talking 'hard cores' or egotistical children yelling at some casual lady, it'd cause some drama. o_o

[QUOTE="BET8390"][QUOTE="Yo-gan"]I cant see them putting a mic in, it seems as if nintendo doest want any kind of proper communication with who you fight :(WiiRoscoe

think from the buissness side of things. Nintendo would want law suit or mountains of complains from r-tarded parents complaining their children are being called " F***** n00bs" "G** F****TS" and stuff like that...

And just how is this not a major problem for Microsoft?

well, look at most of microsofts online games...Shooters, most of them rated M. So if any dumb parent tries to complain their children are getting cus at on Halo Microsoft can retalliate by saying that ita a rated M games and its not for kids.

I forgot to quote it but someone said that they could make it censored, but i dont understaid how they would make that work how would nintendo inticipate the language over a live game not to knock the idea if they could do that i would support it i think that the trash talk on halo really ruined the online experience and i ended up not even using the headset
