Sorry I didn't respond back when you asked me last month about Puzzle Quest. If you still haven't gotten to play it, I still recommend trying your hand at that. It's mainly a puzzle game at heart but it has an interesting twist by throwing an RPG aspect. You have different abilities to help you in 'battle' (consisting of puzzle based fighting where you match three gems of six different kinds in a row) and you can equip your character with different equipment to help you as well. I enjoyed it at least and honestly I'm not that big of puzzle games.

Panzer Tactics is good too, if you like Advance Wars and don't mind/love WW2 games, I think you'll enjoy that game as well.

IMO it seemed pretty linear.... that is, if youve played and remember the story formula from the previous Pokemon games. Other parts were just guessing.

But if you get into importing games, no. 1 on your listshould be Fire Emblem: Shin Ankokuryuu to Hikari (aka FE: DS). It's only in Japanese but its not too hard to understand, there are places on the net that'll tell you what's what. It's an AWESOME rpg/ turn-based strategy game, and if you can beat it on hard mode 5 in a reasonable amount of time then YOU ARE FREAKING GOD. uuuuubbbbbeeeeerrrr hard.
