[QUOTE="Rod90"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] please, no more of that. mandatory handheld controllers only serve to get in the way.BrunoBRS
Well, amazing games have been done using that scheme, like Final Fantasy CC and Zelda 4SA. But I agree with you that it was a bit underused, very well done, but not enough to justify the mandatory hardware. Missed potential. With that said, I would LOVE to see what can they do with a Wii game with DS or 3DS's as controllers, with no differnces between both of course. If they make a really big effort, it would justify that scheme. Think about it, many people have DS's now, you wont need special accesseries as the GC-GBA link cable, as the DS can connect wirelessly to the Wii; and now with the release of the 3DS more potential "controllers" would be on the market. Which brings the question... can the 3DS connect to the Wii like the DS does?

true, amazing games (crystal chronicles is one of my favorite gamecube games) came out from the connectivity, but it still is limiting the true potential. finding 4 DS owners (or 3 others, in my case), just to play a game, is quite a nuisance.

Indeed. Crystal Chronicles was awesome, but not being able to play the game in multi-player with GC controllers was absolutely ridiculous, and made the game a lot worse. Almost had more fun in that game in single-player because of it.

well most of my multiplayer sessions with it were just plain bad, so i did enjoy it a lot on single player (which is how i played most of it).

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="Rod90"] I was thinking about a Four Swords Adventures remake on the Wii with DS/3DS connectivity. That would rock.Rod90

The 3DS can connect to the Wii, since you can transfer your Miis from the Wii to the 3DS. If they were going to do that though they should just use the DS though as there are way more of those out there than 3DSs and the 3DS could still be used in DS mode. This would make the game more accessible as there are 140 million DSs as opposed to probably 5-10 million 3DSs that should be out there by the end of the year.

I had a dream I was playing LttP with orchestrated music and overhauled graphics. Exact same gameplay and overhead style, but with DKCR-ish visuals. I want :(

I think Ocarina of Time 3D and Skyward Sword would be good enough anniversary gifts.

if the mario 25th is anything to go by, it will be the same as the GC zelda collection disk, only minus majora's mask and Ocarina of time... but it will have an art book so it will be all good.

Came here to post this.

Anyway, don't forget Links Awakening for the first time on a properly lit handheld screen. (or could the GBA SP still play GB games? I don't remember)

You could play gameboy games on the GBA SP and GBA Micro, of course it will probably look better on the 3DS.
