And I have to say its not half bad!!

The online is actually pretty good and connects fast. Even the battle system is pretty Smoothed out. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of diversity in the game. There are some funn minigame you unlock.

I also bought the DS Pokemon: Diamond and I would say the connectivity serves its basic purpuse quiet well.

I would recommend the combo of Battle Revolution + Pokemon DS To any RPG'er...

Anyone else get the game?

Trust me its worth it when you have siblings to play it with. When you have friends to play it with, when you have wifi and also when you have diamond [the connectivity feature!]. Not to mention the single player!

Its worth $50 bucks. Atleast its not 60 bucks like PS3 + 360 games

Is it like Stadium where you just pick from the list of Pokemon and then select attacks to use? Is there any more control than that. To me, Stadium was the same as playing "highest card", you just put out what beats your opponent which is predictable.

HerbSewell

Its more similer to Pokemon colloseum for the gamecube [which I frankly liekd better than XD]. Also, it has enough new things to keep you entailed even if you have played some of the past games [and ive played standium 1 and colloseum]

Is it worth it if you dont have a DS?
I kinda "destroyed" mine.... ^^movin_target

Its not as fun without the DS.

But I think you will definatly still enjoy it if you really like pokemon!

[Especially the online play, minigames and Single player]

[QUOTE="nintenboy9128"]

Its actually pretty descent! But I wouldn't buy the game if ALL your gonna play is the single-player. If you have read some, about the game, you would realize that nintendo is really trying to push the multiplayer aspect of it.

Especially with them having it be the First Wifi game and introducing DS - Wii connectivity with the game along with Multi-player...

There are still some-things that make the game really similer to Stadium but I'd say its closser to colloseum. But if you injoyed stadium or/and colloseum you will definatly like this game too!

well it would be cool to call your commands into a mic and have your pokemon do the command like if you say use tackle, the pokemon will do that move, but if you want to chat to other people playing, their wouldn't be anything to say like you said earlier.

If I really like the Pokemon series, think that the best Pokemon console game was Pokemon Stadium 2, found the gameplay in Pokemon Colosseum monotonous, and my favorite part of the game was the Battle mode, will I still like this game and its single player?

I just bought it and its fun. The graphics are awesome, good music, customizing your character is fun also. It's easy to connect online, but it kind of drags a little during the battles, not a lot though. I don't really think it's worth 50 bucks, I say about 40.

There's no story? Hm, you're going to have to explain to me how the game is more like Pokemon Colosseum when it was basically Pokemon Stadium 2 with a story, no rental Pokemon and a free roaming environment.

Well, the main focus of the game is to fight in 10 Colosseums and beat them all, using your Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl, or using Rental Pokemon.

That sounds nearly word for word that exact same summary of the Gym Leader Castle in Pokemon Stadium 2. Just replace "Diamond and Pearl" with "Gold, Silver, Red and Blue", "Coliseums" with "Gyms" and you roughly have the same thing as Pokemon Stadium 2.

Just got it and it's not that bad. So for those of you who HATED Stadium with a Passion, this game isn't for you. The DS-Wii Feature is great. And online isn't that bad. If you need a game to keep your head on till Strikers, this isn't that bad. Just make sure you have friends!;)

In any case, I'll buy it any way. I couldn't stand the simplified and boring replacement for the RPG aspect of the game that they used in Pokemon Colosseum to try to mirror the handheld games. I loved Pokemon Stadium 2 and felt that that game was the best way the Pokemon experience could be emulated on a home console, and Pokemon Battle Revolution supposedly is the same apprehension. That, the sale at Circut City for $10 less, and the addition of on-line play will defiantly have me buying the game this week.

If you just want to see Pokemon and do the colosseums, I say rent it. If you want to train your Pokemon, transfer them to your Wii and show the world that you are strong, buy it.

I'd try out battle revolution, but the problem is that cheating will probably be a big thing. Lots of people are using action replays to get max stats *not necessarily level* on the ds versions, and will just use them on battle revolution online. Nothing nintendo can really do.

I know. You have to purify the dark pokemon, right? I didn't like it. And still, from what I heard it isn't as cool as were the other adventure Pokemon's. It seems that it doesn't exactly follows the formula...

The game is good, 7.8 but when you play Wi-Fi it runs slow. Because you have to wait for the other players to pick a move. But it is still a good game. But it is best if you have pokemon DS because there are NO good pokemon in the game so it is better when you download your own pokemon from the DS game. I will battle you, MY FC for Pokemon Battle Revolution is 1761-9725-4601

I have it, it has it's flaws, but it's a worthy purchase for an "expansion pack" to Diamond and Pearl. I honestly believe this game is worthless to those who don't own one of those two though, as the rental teams are incredibly limited, and only the gate colloseum would be relatively "fair" to non D/P owners after they rank up.

I'd try out battle revolution, but the problem is that cheating will probably be a big thing. Lots of people are using action replays to get max stats *not necessarily level* on the ds versions, and will just use them on battle revolution online. Nothing nintendo can really do.hazuki

Actually, Nintendo is actually doing a GOOD job with this. So-called carefully "Legit" hacked Pogeys can get through, as in, ones that are hacked, but stats and caught location and whatnot all are set up to be possible in-game, but many of the more sloppily-hacked "Legit" hacked pogeys and impossible pogeys do not work on Wi-Fi, and possibly have the effect of banning that player from using non-rental teams for some time. Just go to the GameFAQS PBR forum and see all of the whining. It's great.

I want to know if you can transfer your current Pokemon on the DS to the Wii game, and then they'll be there forever. I want to start a new game for the Diamond, but I have a lot fo rare Pokemon that I'll lose if I don't transfer them somewhere. Basically I'm asking if there's any way to trasnfer those rare pokemon back to the diamond game after transfering them to the Wii game. If anyone knows, thank you! This may sway my decision to buy the game!

Maybe the 6 you keep on a trainer card, but as far as the storage goes, AFAIK they stay there forever as long as you don't update. Perhaps if you create a new file on PBR for your new transfers it'll work just fine. I've only had the game for a day, and the Pokemon Fansites are being notoriously slow as far as updating PBR info is concerned, so I don't know.
