I liek both. Bikes are a very nice addition while karts run smoothly :DSMR-Venom
That's what I think. I have also noticed that Bikes are easier to handle with the Wii Wheel while Karts are easier to handle with WiiMote and Nunchuke. Probably because I am so used to using an analog stick to control Karts. I am practicing Karts with the Wii Wheel though.
I used to be a supporter of karts... but they don't have the wheelies and bikes are smaller so they can fit through things easier. I switched and now I use bikes. If you check all of the world record ghosts, they all use bikes... bikes have an advantage.

i havent unlocked anything since ive mainly 90 percent played online, but im still saying bikes cause i like its sharper turns and the ability to weave.
So far, it has to be bikes, but thats because Bowser on a bike it the best combo I've tried so far. Maybe when I unlock more things, I might change it.

No I don't think they are balanced at all! The bikes have a huge advantage. Ever since I started using bikes I've been owning... The wheelie thing works on all courses you just need to be quick and use them after power slides.
