Kid Icarus sequel!!! *****PR00F*****

Wow I never knew Halo had a chance on the DS. That would've been cool. As for Kid Icarus, I'm not that interested. I wasn't even born when Kid Icarus came out. He is pretty good in SSBB but I don't know about a whole game surrounding Pit.s-baller23

Well, they couldn't let him have the old design from the 2D games. That would make him look stupid compared to the other characters in Brawl, who all (or at least almost) look great. I guess the question really is why they put him in Brawl at all. But then, there might not be a lot of all-nintendo characters to choose from. Maybe Sakurai just thought Pit would be cool.

Anyway, I do hope it is true. I think it would be a good choice by nintendo to make a game, since everyone knows Pit by now.

i would be very suprised if they didn't make a new kkid icarus game. i mean, to put him in ssbb? it was really random and shocking. so they should make one because of his appearance in ssbb.bbtcbbtc

Random putting him in SSBB? Well, what Sakurai does, doesn't always make sence. He put Sheik in Brawl, even though it is the Zelda from TP, who can't transform into Sheik in TP. I think Sakurai thinks more about gameplay than logic. He probably just thought Pit would be a good character in the game.

so, right now, our conclusion is this:

for now, it is not confirmed true, however very likely because the remake of pit could mean the remake of the game kid icarus, plus president of masacasca's (or whatever it is) wife, works with nintendo, thus giving him the knowledge of such things, however revealing what he said, might put his wife's job in jeopordy. rumors all over the internet are talking about the return of the old game. so many rumors, could possobly mean its true, however for now, we do not know and its not comfirmed, and the best thing we could do now, is wait for E3, to see of the fantatic game, will come back.

Yes because everyone knows that if the original isnt good a sequel 20 years later will also be bad. Seriously I wish people like you would look out of the box. Almost every video game franchise that ever started at the nes sequels completely blew the original games out of the water seeing you have a zelda avater the eqivant would be to say that zelda doesnt deserve a sequel because the original isnt good . But for the record I do like both original kid icarus and zelda games

The first Zelda games is still one of the best Zelda games and a Cl-as-sic to this day

He assure that in 5-10 years they would not be need for consoles or they would be built in... Same as many analist assure a few stuff.. but that is just their "proffessional" opinion.

The only thing that makes me think this has a slither of truth it that right after Bozon said Matt is gonna get a call from Reggie.

I bet we will get one soon but then again Earthbound has the biggest cult classsic following, basically more than any other game out there, and Nintendo STILLLL has not made a new one. I just dont think Kid Icarus will beat the impossible expectation I have foolishly have in my mind. I really want to see a crazy epic war like Kid Icarus where Pit is fighting hoards of demons in the sky and defending a town below. But I think they are gonna go really light hearted and low scale. That will still be good but not what I really see in a new and improved Kid Icarus

yeah i listened to this episode the other day, and in the second episode of Nintendo voice chat, one of listeners wrote in and asked the following?

"have you seen the new kidicarus and what do you think about its developer?"

and i can't remember if it was Matt or Mark Bozon who responded

"we haven't seen it yet but the developer is great" or something along those lines, so atleast we know its in good hands.

if you do not have source/proof of what you are saying, you could even say: "I`m extremelly certain that X is happening"

but without a proof is nothing....

pls understand that I do want to be a new kid icarus, is just that FOR ME.. a statement without source is not a proof of anything..

I could come here to the forums say "I know there is a zelda game in develope" without a source to back me up, is just my opinion (maybe opinion is not teh best word to use, but you get what I mean, right?? :oops: :P )

Now... like I stated above... I`m not saying that i snot true, just that is lacking the source "proof" part to support him :)

For some reason, I actually prefer playing as Pit more than Link in Smash Bros Brawl! I seem to win more with Pit; I just love his blade-fighting skills. He's really good when playing against multiple players because his smash attacks just seem to cut through everyone. His up-smash is guaranteed to connect all the hits better than Link's up-smash. I like them both, but I'm surprised at how Nintendo redesigned Pit to have fighting skills to rival Link. Pretty awesome! Pit truly deserves a Kid Icarus sequel!

If the sequel had 3D gameplay, it'll probably be somewhat reminiscent of God of War. But if the gameplay is 2D, I'd expect it to be a fun innovative platformer like Donkey Kong Jungle Beat or Viewtiful Joe.

and if you keep reading, itll say that there will be a halo on DS. thats just stupid!! why waste their time on the DS and put it on the wii. that will get way more people interested.dark_crysis_202

Halo on the DS wouldve been sad i mean come on people open your eyes! they did this with Assassains Creed, one of the best selling 360 game and turned it DS, one of the worst games on DS and they did it for James Bond! just stop! please stop taking great games and destroying them because people without the certain console are sending u personal death threats

That isn't proof, IGN aren't allowed to tell us about projects that Nintendo want secret. A new Kid Icarus game does have a high chance of coming soon though.

If there is a rumored game they usually have big brackets beside the link that say rumored or they will say it in the summary. My point is they get the news before eveyone else and if they happen to mess up they let you know which is as often as any other site.

Here at GS there is almost no news about the Wii. Most of the news is covering the 360 and thats not an exageration. Thats fine by me cause they can do what they want ill just go to other sites. The only reason im here is because IGN message boards are lame and GS are really well done not to mention free.

People buy good games if they make it good people will buy it. Its series age really isnt the factor that determines if it sells or not.
