Length of MP3

This is a pic fromIGN and shows 82% in around 19 hours so that means it should be about 25 hours long. I wounder if that includes scanning and stuff because then you could maybe beat it in 20 with just playing and not exploring alot.

Thats alot more than most games these days, which cant be beat in two extended sittings. Anyway I'm sure they just ran through the game in order to finish so that they can do thier review.

These are people who play games for a living, it will take the average gamer about 25-30 minutes

does IGN have the whole game, or just the third that they previewed? Because if they had the first third only and it took them 20 hrs, thats a 60 hr game....

I also remember the article that said 15% took six hrs, i think we are looking at a 40+ game (hopefully).

Agreed, I work all day and have a baby coming in Sept. so I won't have as much time to play video games. 20 hours would be fine with me.

20 hours is PLENTY for a FPS.

As long as it isnt like god of war. i beat GOW 1 and 2 in under 10 hrs combined lol.

20 hours for this kind of game is perfect. This is not a Final Fantasy or Zelda. Peoples always complain for nothing.

Yeah I wouldn't really worry becaus ethey do fly through games due to the fact they play them all the time with time constraints for the sake or reviewing. I was freaked at first but Gametrailers.com said that at 7 hours they were only 15%. I think we'll all be okay :)

My guess is the length is largely determined by the skill of the player. If it takes someone skilled about 20 hours to complete, it might take the average player 30 hours.

And for someone like me, it will probably take 60 hours. ;)

You guys realize this is metroid, so you could probably beat the game with only 50 some percent.

I just recently finally finished Metroid Prime 2: Echos. I had 79% and it took me 21 hours. (pretty pathetic)

But just because they say it took them 6 hours to get 15% doesnt mean that the game will end up being a 30 hour game.

20 hours is about what I expected. If you bust off and search for secrets and such and take your time with the game and enjoy the world your in it will take you longer.

20 hours for a FPS is plenty, as one poster already said. I only feel ripped off if I buy a game and its less. I was pleased with RE4 and it was about a 15 hour game.

exactly - and besides, for completionists, it will take much longer to get every last token in MP3 to unlock all the bonuses (which includes a screenshot-taking camera that you have to earn and can send photos to your friends through your wii!)

To all the people complaining about the game being too short: First of all, 20 hours is not short, beat it three time, you got youself 60 hours right there. And, don't rush through the game is you want it to be longer, scan everything, explore the world, try to find all the hidden things.JMart0492
