I am planning on buying a Wii very soon and I was just wondering if anyone knows where or how I could find one? I know I should call the stores to ask them when they might get a shipment in but I would also like to know if anyone knows of anywhere that usually has them or anything? Thanks.

ive been on here a lot asking that very same question. but seein as everybody on this board lives all over the country u cant really judge where Wii's will be. Your and my best bet would be to just keep on checkin the stores everyday and ya it might get annoying having to do that but when u finally get one its gonna be awesome. I just called gamestop a few minutes ago and they said they are gettin some shipments in on friday so ill prolly be up there around 7 when they open to try to snag one b4 they are all gone. but keep lookin u might get lucky :)

Show up at your retailers at opening if possible, the early bird catches the worm, and if you don't see them at the gaming section go to customer service and ask, they may keep them back there. I've seen them once in the wild at Bestbuy a while back, and check the ads, sometimes they have them on sundays but again have to be there at opening. Good luck!

This is the best reccomendation you can probably get. Black Friday is the time when almost every store everywhere were Wiis are sold have them. But you better be first in line!! People buy Wiis like there's no tomorrow (I know I did8))

call your local Bestbuy, Circuit City, Gamestop, or anywhere they sell wii's and ask when the get their shipment of wii's or when they are getting their wii's. After that, get to the store an hour early and wait.

also try other retailers that some don't think of such as Target/Super Target, Walmart (shudders) and possibly Toys r us.

heh if I knew where a wii was I'd huddle up as much money as I could save up and be there faster than you could say "Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles"

Oddly enough, I found one during the middle of the day at a Sears. It was on a thursday or Friday but usually Wii's turn up on random days so it's mostly just luck if you find one.

I called Toys R Us on a Tuesday, I think, and the guy told me they were getting a shipment in the next day.

I don't know if that was just my store, or all of them, though. Just try all sorts of stores, use Wii locators, etc.
