I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I'm thinking just "Legend of Zelda." On its own, it seems pretty epic and would make a pretty cool name. Maybe even a reboot of the franchise, set in a completely alternate world not even related to the old games but that might alienate fans...kayn83
Now THAT would be awesome.
The Legend of Zelda: Minds Eye
The game would consist of Link searching for evil lords all across hyrule and when he finaly finds them he has to enter the temple to there psychi. Meaning, he will have some new magical weapon called "the minds eye" that allows him to enter a dungeon in his enemies mind where no conventional rules apply.
We could have some really trippy stuff thrown at us with this concept.....
The Legend of Zelda: The Rise of Chuck Norris
The Legend of Zelda: DDR
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Picnic
The Legend of Zelda: Happy Moose Day!
The Legend of Zelda: 2+2=5
The Legend of Zelda: *********************
On a serious note, i really like IGN's idea that they mentioned in one podcast. As i remember it, they said "I really wish Nintendo would make a Zelda that begins with link sitting on epona high on a hill, looking down on a decimated and burning Hyrule saying, 'Time to kick some but' ". Something really dark. We have the Zelda series with Young Link for the casuals and small children, why can't we have the adult series for those who want something completely hardcore and dark? Something to rival God of War in every way. Blood, Gore, great cutscenes, great voice acting, ect. Except sex, i honestly can't see Nintendo adding that.
Also, an OOT remake would be sweet, but with a bazillion stuff added like entire kingdoms for each realm instead of just one town. Make Hyrule feild into Hyrule Kingdom. Make Kokiri Village into Kokiri City, just one of the many. You get the idea. Also, maybe they could add entirely new concepts, while keeping to OOTs formula. Maybe a few different plot twists, more exciting combat, ect.

i wouldnt go as far as God of War style, but it does need to be darker. I always wanted to see Link participate in an overall war. It kinda feels strange that havoc is always wreaking that land when you can run around the enemies in Zelda and the problems are usually in a few pocketed areas.

Yea I agree. Why can't Nintendo take the series a step further and make huge battles that involve horse back combat. But the God of War theme won't really match with the zelda games. Link doesn't look that flexible to do all those crazy moves that Kratos does....

though he would still monkey stomp him in a battle :)
anyway there really needs to be battles. Lets say a horse brigade is charging at them so Link has to light some bombs in the right pattern to smash most of them. Then you have to fight the survivors.
[QUOTE="dmil1991"]....And after the credits, you see a hyper-stylized sign that says "Thus commences the second quest." The second quest would be much harder than the first because of poor camera controls and major slowdown during the final boss fight!
Emmenite7
You'll need to explain that one to me, I don't get the reference.
It's a combination of the second quest from the original Zelda, but it also poking fun at Super Mario Sunshine.

i wanna know what he does after twilight princess!!!
does he relax?
go to the beach?
it would be great.
Emmenite7
The vacation is interrupted, however, when a mysterious Link look-alike is spotted defiling the beautiful locales with an icky paint-like goo, causing the local authorities to arrest the innocent hero. Fortinately, the judge - after a number of appeals from Princess Zelda - bestows upon Link the SORD (Sword of the Removal of Detritus), and promises to pardon the hero in exchange for the removal of the pollution from the once-beautiful tropical paradise.
so link and SORD go about the town cleaning up and chasing after "cosmic link" and soon meets hima nd realizes who he is!
its gannondorfs son!!!!
And Zelda's the mother!
The final boss fight will take place inside a giant, floating bowl of soup, and will require link make his way around the rim of the bowl and strike the edges with the Megaton Hammer until it shatters.
The game would end by Link and SORD blasting off into the air and sitting in the Hills. Link would then frantically look for Sord but can't find him anywhere but then Sord comes falling form the sky out of nowhere. Then the camera turns to the right and you see Ganon and Hima sitting in field.
Gannon: Junior, I have something... difficult to tell you.
Gannon Jr: I know, Zelda isn't really my mommy. Someday, when I'm bigger... I want to fight that Link again!
Gannon: That's my boy!
LMAO
We better delete this. Nintendo doesn't need to get any ideas.
Wall of quotes!
Im just throwing ideas out but what if they did a really insane game that took place when Ganon was in his teens and so was Link. If tbey really showed the inner workings of Ganadorf as a child it would be really cool. Where his lust for power and such started and Link and Ganadorf fight at the same level instead of Link fighting an old man that never dies.
Im not sure but I think Ganadorf is the same person in every game while Link is a different hero almost every time. SO it would be cool if they really opened that history in his desert origins.
I think it's time that Navi or whatever other fairy gets the spotlight in some fashion. That's why I like The Legend of Zelda: Fairy Requiem.meinink2y
Maybe they should make a game that follows the events of Ocarina of Time but is played from Navi's perspective. I'm not quite sure how it would play, but perhaps it would be something like an escort mission for Link. In addition, you will get to discover what happens to Navi following Ocarina's heartbreaking ending.

well i wouldnt really compare it to anything. At least that is how I am imagining it and maybe thats a little crazy but if they were to do battles in some shape it could not really do well if it used any of those ideas it would have to fundamentally invent a new wat to fight battles and that involes puzzles, non button mashing sword fighting, and a balance between linear and non linear. Basically it has a snowflakes chance in hell of being in a Zelda game but I firmly beleive that if they do another game with just dungeons its going to start feeling very formulaic. Theres needs to be something more grand or a new sophistication added to the mix.
