It looks pretty great to be honest but I was expecting more Mario games fromE3but oh well, this will do.
It's a sequel, it looks exactly the same as the first! SMG was a good game, but it wasn't what I expected it to be. It was like playing a 2d game (at some points) in a 3d world, linear speaking.
Like others, I hope there are more "worlds" that we can explore

You Know Mario Galaxy felt more like an old school game, it was like the ultimate fan service. I didn't mind that, I mean Mario 64 felt more open because all the stars were just there in the large level, but you often just retreaded ground to get to the different star. I liked how Galaxy mixed that and that old school level design of dropping you off in similarlily themed levels but at a different location with different challenges. The only thing I would change is to make the hidden stars more Super Mario World like hidden, where you have to go off the beaten path to find it, instead of just being a fork in the road represented by a hungry Luma. I know thats probably a little tougher to do in 3D, but if anyone can figure it out, its Miyamoto and EAD.saw it on youtube, thought it was pretty cool. yoshi's gonna be in it, that's awsomeconkertheking1
I can't believe I get modded for not liking the Conduit...but people can freely post random blogs as threads for absolutely no reason.

yeah this is kinda the "i have no real information or purpose to this thread but i just want people to validate my premature feelings for a sequel"It's a sequel, it looks exactly the same as the first! Personally, I wouldn't like to see more worlds. I think the original Galaxy was at its best on its linear levels and I hope they keep the same linear level per explorable world rate in this one. :)

I hope they also use the Super Guide thing in this so they can make it hard and still appeal to the less experienced players.
Pierst179
Yeah, that would be great, but I assume doing Super Guide for a 3-D environment would be really hard.
Is Zelda Wii not going to be in 3D?I didn't mind the linearness sometimes, but I just wish it wasn't the main part of the game. I wish it was like 50/50 and not 10/90 .
Like the Mushroom Kingdom in the beginning when the game starts, it could've been a bad ass little level (the type, not the actualy level itself). I just miss the good ol' days of SM64, BK, DK64, etc.

Is Zelda Wii not going to be in 3D?Yes, but Myiamoto made it pretty clear they are not using that for Zelda. I can't find his exact quote right now, but he said something about Pandora's Box. :P

Here it is from danger_ranger95's post: On Zelda Super Guide: "Let's use Zelda as an example, introducing it opens up a Pandora's Box: do we solve the puzzles, do we show how to solve it in order to make them understand it, do we show the whole solution? It can be a difficult system, but we do see some value in it. " From just that it seems hard to tell, but I see where you're coming from.DEAR GOD HOW MANY MORE DO YOU WANT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! THREE NEW MARIO GAMES!!!! That's a ton.It looks pretty great to be honest but I was expecting more Mario games fromE3but oh well, this will do.

Seriosly! Wii has the most Mario games out of consoles!
On Gamecube and Nintendo 64 there were only Sunshine and Mario 64.
i have yet to read that myiamoto speech from the other topic, but when the super guide was announced as a concept, he wanted it to be in all games, one way or another.I hope they also use the Super Guide thing in this so they can make it hard and still appeal to the less experienced players.
