I think Nintendo are evil freaking bastards for releasing videos of such an awesome game when I have to wait for months until I get to play it. If I could buy a freaking demo of the game for almost the price of a whole game, I probably would.

I don't usually say this but this game is going to be sweet. Yesterday some loser developer said Nintendo didn't support art in games (no, I don't know what he was on). As a matter a fact, I don't know of a developer that invests more in art than Nintendo.Â
I'm torn. The graphics look great, the kind that you really can't improve much upon given the fact that it's Mario and Mario is cartoony by nature (sort of how DBZ:BT2 for Wii looked the same as it did on the PS2, but nobody minded, given the nature of what it's representing), but when Mario got shot away I saw the layout of worlds, and I'm a little disturbed. I hope not every level is just a shoot-through-starfest, and that they mix up the gameplay a bit like they did with Super Mario 64 (many different kinds of levels). Miyomoto is great with Variety, even though he likes to lean toward nostalgia a wee bit much sometimes, but I'm still concerned.
