Mario Kart wii, no question about it. Since it has past stages from doulble dash, online play, and more fun.

Both are easily the worst in the series so i think they are about equal.

I would get Mario Kart for Wii first then double dash, Wii version is fun because you can play online such as balloon fights and gather coins and also race, People are very active online.

Both are awesome games, but if I had to choose one, I think it would be Mario Kart Wii. I loved the huge amount of unlockables (especially characters) that it has and the play with the Wii Wheel. The tracks are really cool and the online is the best in all the Wii catalogue. The only thing I miss from DD is that cup in which you played all the tracks one by one in random order, that was really cool. But still, the best Mario Kart game of all is Mario Kart 64.

Mario Kart Wii, superb tracks, the Wiis best online so far, and bikes were a welcome addition.

MK Wii = Boring. The item system doesn't keep races tight like it used to. First place can often hold leads for very long periods. Generally alot more spread out racers. (Even more apparent with smaller # of players)

Super-Mario-Fan

So you're saying that spiny shells are good? Seriously people, make up your damn minds!

And I agree with most. MK Wii is superior to Double Dash but inferior to DS.

I would have to say they were alot more influential in Double Dash.

Seeing as how Double Dash was a large step backward for the series, I like Mario Kart Wii a lot more.

Double Dash: Only the Koopas can use triple shells (red and green). You cannot hold items behind you either. I didn't like most of the tracks.

Mario Kart Wii: fixed snaking. Best designed tracks yet in the series. Most of the best tracks from the older games. Bikes being a fantastic adition. Tricks are perhaps the best addition to the series (adds more to speed runs). Online component is the best Nintendo has ever produced.

Double dash made a bunch of bad aditions so Nintendo whent back to the basics with Mario Kart DS then made alll the right aditions with mario Kart Wii.

LOL i have the exact OPPOSITE opinion of MKWii. i hated almost ALL of the tracks except for the mall one, i thought bikes were so lame and pointless, i thought the tricks sucked because they add nothing to the actual race, and the online is mediocre. granted its smooth and near perfect from a technical standpoint, its very bland.

I did not really care for either but I would have to say DD only because I think there are to many karts in the Wii version.

Mario Kart Wii, it has more tracks, more karts (and bikes), and it has online play.
