It is alright. Pretty much like all of the other Mario Party's I have played. My son has it and I have played it with him a couple of times. He loves it.
I liked it. I wish the boards would have been bigger though. Maybe now that the 3DS game cards have significantly larger memory, a Mario Party 3DS game will be made and the boards will be back to normal size.
Excellent game. Better than all the Gamecube versions because it was in the same style of the N64 versions. Wish it had Wifi. I would be playing it all the time if it did, I love Mario Party games for some reason while everyone else seems to hate them. :P
I think the luck factor is way too high. In the games I play (board games) I'll win every single mini-game except one or two, and I'll still lose. Sometimes I do have a flawless game but bad luck with dice rolls mean I lose the board.
Other than that it's a ton of fun. Something nice about it that it has great single card play, me and some family members can play any board game with just one game card, and I think we can do free play mini games but I'm not sure.

I was so lucky getting this game... my friend, who doesn't have a DS, literally FOUND it. He was just walking and FOUND it laying there! So, he gave it to me. Sweet, huh?:D
