Opera just released the following press release saying they now support Flash 9 support on mobile devices.

Hopefully that means that the Wii will soon will be able to support Flash 9. :)

Umm, the only thing I see is that they're supporting "Flash Lite 3", not Flash 9. (Flash Lite is an extremely stripped down version of flash designed for low-end devices such as cell phones)ThePlothole
I re-read the press release again, and realize that I saw Opera 9 SDK and in my mind replaced it with Flask 9 SDK. Hope is quickly dashed again. :(

Macromedia was acquired by Adobe a few years ago, and Adobe seems to have phased out the Macromedia name. So it's all up to Adobe.
