Metroid Other M Widescreen

I just put this game in for first time and its in widescreen (black bars on top and bottom) is this normal?

Don't think so... is your TV not widescreen? Maybe you have your Wii's settings to widescreen or something.

Its the only game that is in widescreen mode. Weird.

The game is 16:9 widescreen, but it should take up the whole screen, except maybe during cut scenes. Mine worked fine. I would say maybe you have your TV settings wrong, but if it's only doing it for Metroid then I guess that wouldn't be it.

tc... what you mean is widescreen letterboxed...thats why you have black bars..

but to answer your question... its should fill up you whole screen.

Almost all games are widescreen (minor exceptions), as long as you have a widescreen TV and your Wii configured to output the game that way from the system settings Metroid Other M is widescreen capable but should fill your entire screen when playing Check your TV to see if any manual setting was changed, as zoom, proportion (4:3 or 16:9), etc. BTW, your TV is NTSC or PAL? Not sure if that can have something to do with it... Regards
