I was at Walmart today and I was looking at the games, and they had a sign up saying Metroid PRime 3 will be in on 8/23. Then I got on the website to see if it was just a mistake, and the website said that the games ships on 8/21, so it adds up. I'm wondering if its just my walmart or other walmarts as, well, if so I'm going to be able to get the game almost a week early!
I wouldn't consider that a week early. That's how shipping is supposed to work, but a lot of places are real lazy about getting software in on time, so I guess I can see why that would surprise you...
There was one game I wanted for the GameCube that I couldn't find until a month after it came out.
That must be old advertisements. MP3 was originally dated to be shipped on the 21st. It was pushed back a week to ship on the 27th. Stores like Walmart usually gets their games in a few days late.

Sheesh, this is why I hate shopping at Walmart, mybe, they said call on the 23rd to see, but I doubt they will have them out.
But my previous post being said, I've never seen Wal-Mart specifically say they're having a game out on such-and-such date, so I assume it's real and they'll stick to it.

Exactly they simply didnt change it to the updated release schedule.
Stores sometimes get games early but they just don't sell them until the date it was said to be sold.Maskedboy
Yea they do sometimes get them early. One time I got a game early due to new employee's and they mistaked and sold me a game before it was supposed to come out. Happened with a DVD too once.
