Metroid Prime 3 - Shooting button

I feel more comfortable shooting with B button instead of the default A button. Shooting with A button feels awkward to me. What about u?

The B Button is a trigger which actually feels like a gun. i don't know why they had the A button as default.Jayesler12

Every games i've played, i always use the default control settings, and it feels right, except for MP3.

What? Mine was automatically B. Maybe because I have PAL?

Because Samus isn't holding a gun.

I like to use the A button as it puts your thumb in a better position to fire the missiles.Popadophalis

Same with me, it feels more natural have "shooting" with same finger thats why i use A.

They have it as the A button because shooting was done with A in the previous two prime games. I use it because I think I can tap it faster than the B trigger.

The reason is because:

1. She isn't carrying a traditional gun with a trigger.

2. You would know exactly why if you played the first two Metroid Prime games.

I like to use the A button as it puts your thumb in a better position to fire the missiles. Plus i used the original control scheme for a couple hours before i realised that you could change it - and by that time I couldnt be bothered readjusting.Popadophalis

I have it on the "A" button.

"A" button for me, easier to access my missles and its feel better to hold down the "Z" button and sidestep with jump ("B" button). Feel more natural to me.

anyway, wintry, just because she's technically not got a gun, doesn't mean what she holds doesn't work like a gun, and therefore feel beter to have a trigger
