The game is over 2 years old, if you havent seen the ending at this point, you weren't going to see it at all.

Yeah, because it's not like Metroid Prime Trilogy was released a few months ago, with the odds of people playing these games for the first time being rather high.

Did you actualy kill dark samus?

You thought you killed Metdroid prime in the first one didn't you? Untill you saw dark samus. Maybe dark samus just wants you to think the same thing.

Think about this, star wars was origionally thought to be a trilogy and only a trilogy, but three more movies were released.
