Yeah it is pretty biased. Just like OXM. I laugh every time I go to Nintendo's website and see that EVERY 1st party Nintendo game has 5 stars. I'm hoping this game will be worth the money.
Really NP isn't as biased as you all say. They gave Zelda a 9.5. And hardly ever give out a 10, so it is saying something that Metroid got a 10 from them.
There not nearly as biased as most make them out to be. I usually take .5 points off and it usually matches most other reviews. They only gave Resident Evil 4 (Wii edition) a 9. I've never seen them give out a 10 either. If it gets a below a 9 on GS, I will be truly shocked. My guess is IGN will give it a 9.6, or 9.5. Unless of course the game actually sucks then I'll consider NP very biased indeed.

Well, it may not seem like much to some, since NP gave it that perfect score, but I say that's a pretty good sign for Metroid Prime 3. It seems like they hand out some 9s and 9,5s pretty freely (Starfox Command & Tetris got 9.5s, deserved 7s or 8s), but I say a 10 is a sign of a darn good game. They gave RE4 a 10, and that was an excellent decision, so I'll trust them if they give MP3 a 10.
yea i think nintendo power has gotten MUCH better as a mag in the last 5 years. all around better i mean. but even still a 10/10 in NP is awsomely awsome to the radical max dude....*Woooooo 80s flash back*
WOW! i'm a subscriber to the magazine and i can assure you they arent baised..They score based on increments of 0.5 just like gamespot started doing so some of their scores might be high...But trust me this is a very very good score..they even gave TP a 9.5..They gave geist on GC a 5.0....The only game ever to socre a 10 was RE4...This is quite impresive...
They are really not that biased; heck,the newest reviewer used to work for a playstation magazine. They go by .5's so it's not like they could give it a 9.7. And their reviews are way better than they were a few years ago.

how? they didnt give OoT a 10, they didnt give TP a 10, the only games that got a 10 were RE4 for the Cube, and Metroid Prime 3. Prime 2 got like a 9 or 9.5.

Its still a big deal, the last game they gave a 10/10 was Resident Evil 4 for the cube, and we all know what happened with that game. It is, in some minds the greatest game in history.

Geist - 5/10Mario Party 8 - 7.5/10Pokemon Battle Revolution - 6.5/10Custom Robo Arena - 7.5/10Children of Mana - 6.5/10Clubhouse Games - 7.0/10 But they give 10/10 to every game published by Nintendo :roll:

GS review for MP3. Seriously, i hate all the recent GS reviews, not just wii reviews. Most of them are totally off.
they gave raving rabbids a 7.5 i believe. it was generally AA everywhere. i think. hope rabbids 2 gets a AAA. jk. i dont think it will, but hopefully a AA

Are you sure that should be your final assumption? Remember, Warioware Smooth Moves got 9.1 on Gamespot, so I'd imagine MP3 getting a 9 at the least.

yea i used to trust gamespots reviews more than IGN but now i go to IGN for all my reviews and use gamespot for a backup.

i was just kidding.. but honestly im not expecting much of a review from GS. It sure as hell wont be the place that i'll be coming to read a review for mp3. thats for sure. IGN has far better reviews.

like the other guy said GS reviewshave gone down hill WW:SM was only fun for like 20 min at the most dosnt deserve a 9.1 thats my opinion at least.
NP isnt near as biased as they used to be, and i think the reason they used to give higher scores out easier, but they dont anymore. just take .5 off the score and u get an accurate review.
