Wow it is really popular in Japan.  I really do not think people should worry about it not releasing in America.  But I hope it is released on the Wii U too if it is the same as the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate controls.

I am not a tiny bit worried about it not coming to the US. Monster Hunter 3 did quite well, and I am sure the 4th will come eventually.

As for Japan, those are some crazy lines!

Once this game has wifi multiplayer (instead of local like MH3U), it will be a day one download for me once it hits the eshop.

I may have to look at this game more before I buy it. It looks good from the trailer though.

I wish it didn't take them so long to bring it to the rest of the world; we probably won't see it until late 2014

It was expected to sell like hotcakes there, right? Either way, I do hope Capcom+Nintendo send it our way soon...

The 3DS is really dominating Japan with Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, and Pokemon. Imagine all those streetpasses!!

MH4 has a lot of western influence compared to previous MH games and I highly doubt it'll stay as Japanese exclusive. Hopefully the wait will be shorter because I ABSOLUTELY NEED TO PLAY THIS. LIKE NOW.

It would be awesome if we recieved the same event items as Japan, like the Attack on Titan armor and dual swords in MH3U and Inuyasha's sword in Tri, but I guess they're not as easy to localize as the Mario + Zelda gear.

I thought I was not going to like the game, given how it heavily focus on grinding, but when I got the Wii version of Monster Hunter 3 I was absolutely hooked! I spent over 100 hours on that game.

It is incredibly challenging, and it is nearly impossible to stop playing it. It's also remarkable that, at least on Monster Hunter 3, you can pretty much play the entire main quest online alongside other players and completely ignore offline play.
