Monster hunter Tri - Game Cube Controller Support?

Okay, I'm trying to find out stuff about this game, but the internet is such an indecisive place. I'm gonna get it regardless of what the outcome is, but still. (I know the UK release is far, far away. But you can dream right? :D)

Anywayyyy I'm wandering... does it have Game Cube controller support? I've verified that it has split-screen so i'd like to play it with my friends, but i only have 1 nun-chuck and no classic controllers. (if it doesn't in fact have split-screen... tell me :P)

Yah, TC, I think the only available configurations are WiiRemote+Nunchuck or Classic Controller. I haven't played it yet, but I would recommend you buy a classic controller for this game.
