Wind Waker? Please enlighten me how would it be a good choice. You can't be serious if it's for the baton...Wintry_FlutistWell yeah as well as the combat and while sailing the ship, also I didn't know what to say so I just type down what make the most sense.

Just saying "the combat" and "sailing" doesn't explain how would they benefit from the Wiimote.
As for fighting, it would just be like TP, no big deal. And sailing... Well, it's sailing. The Wiimote most certainly isn't what lacks in WW.
these games don't just get new controls, though, do they? they also get updated graphics, and (at least in the case of Pikmin) address some gameplay issues users had with the original. I think some of these games will even have new stages.
If any of this is off-base, let me know... but this is what I've read. New Play Control
I wish I had a Balance Board so that I could hype myself up for playing Kirby Air Ride on the Wii. That would be pretty cool. :lol:ZumaJones07
I gotta say, I'm glad that that expensive accessory actually has some titles for it that are fun. If it was only good for Wii Fit, it would be a bit of a waste.
The last thing I wanted was a repeat of the Super Scope 6. (2 damn games for that thing).

I think that wiki is wrong. As far as I know, they're just updated controls and nothing more.

bah, wikipedia has screwed me again!
i checked out the citations at the bottom of the Wiki, and none of them mention or show updated graphics. so either it's the best kept secret of 2009, or it's gonna be a port with Wii-controls.
my excitement for this idea has officially lost a point.

Well that's true, I didn't say it need wiimote functionality to be awesome, I just say it since it was one of the option not so sure if the other nintendo games would be good picks.Wind Waker rocked my world and TP's controls were okay. They weren't broken liiike...THRILLVILLE! *One Winged Angel music*
Luigi's Mansion is definatly a fan dav and Air Ride, now that you metion it, would be great with the BB.
timesplitters 2 /3 redux would be nice , mariokart64fanFree Radical made TimeSplitters right??? Good luck.
Wind Waker as long as they don't just give it the Motion Controls TP had,I want to add something(Give it MORE Cel-Shade or more islands to explore).
But really,I would pick none, the games shouldn't be remade with just motion controls when I can just buy it for $10 at a used game shop.:?
I'm gonna have to say neither.
The only time Ninty has ever done a re-release of last gen games on a current gen system that I liked (and by like I mean love) is SM All Stars!
Imo if they want to start re-releasing last gen games on a current gen system than it needs to be in a similar compilation were you get more than one old game for the price of one.
I also think in this situation updating graphics >>> just slapping on wii-mote controls (which only end up "slightly" improving controls were in some cases they even make them worse!) and the GC to Wii graphically isn't nowhere near as a big of a jump to warrant this.
So bottomline, just make brand new games for the Wii, thanx!
Imo the last best shot they had at an All Star type move would have been on the GC. They could have released a compilation of Oot and MM with updated TLP graphics, that would have been awesome and worth $50. The jump in graphics was definetly their between the N64 and GC.
Zelda All Stars FTW!
Ocarina of Time with updated controls. :)
Also, with Twilight Princess graphics... the game would be nuts.
Nintendo said they would not update Ocarina of Time's graphics though because it would ruin the "Feeling" of the old game.

It would definetly change the "old school" feeling, but it would be pretty awesome and give off a whole new feeling.
The original nes SMB gives off a "old game" feeling but that didn't stop them from updating it, same with SMB 3. And both of those updates turned out awesome without ruining it for the originals.
WW would be a very bad idea. I personally haven't played TP on the Wii (only on the GC), but everyone I've talked to who has played both versions, says the controls on the GC are superior.
I also don't see how a game like Luigi's Mansion would benefit from motion controls.
I'd say games such as Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Star Fox: Assault, both because these games would obviously benefit from having motion controls, and because they were a bit overlooked on the GC.
Wind Waker was perfect with the GC controller. To add wii controls to this gem would only feel unnecessary. From that list, probably Luigis Mansion. I'd like to play this game, since I haven't yet and I hear a lot of good things about it, but I'd mch rather get the GC version than to hope they do an NPC of it. Controlling flashlights seem quite cool with the wiimote, though, so I'd much rather see an NPC version of that instead of Wind Waker.
The only game I'd buy would be Windwaker. It would have to be significantly upgraded though... like with Wii Motion Plus controls and improved graphics.alphamale1989Improved graphics? What would they improve? The game looks 1000 times better than the majority of Wii games already. :P

Yeah seriously, it's not broke, so don't try and fix it. Wind Waker's controls were flawless in my opinion.
I don't mind the new play control games, but they really need to include GC controller support. If anything it would be a great way for people to play old GC games they haven't played before.
Luigi needs his own new game ASAP! But new play controls for Luigis Mansion while we wait is fine.

Could not agree more.
NPC Pikmin 2 because it's already done and because i bought the first one hoping the 2nd would come to NA too.
Improved graphics? What would they improve? The game looks 1000 times better than the majority of Wii games already. :P This is true... Mabey they could release it with a Wii HD update if they ever do that. If they released it before the next Zelda it would have a major draw for fans - Replay the Gamecube Classic in HD with conrols from the upcoming "Zelda Wii". I'd totally buy it, perhaps even at full price.[QUOTE="alphamale1989"]The only game I'd buy would be Windwaker.
