No.1 FPS's ussualy take up a hella of a lot of mem and space-
No.2 Nintendo is for casual gamers, therfore they focus less on FPS's
no.3 The online will ususlly turn out sub wrong.
I know it's off-topic, but I feel I have to respond to the Nintendo/casual comment made earlier in the thread. I don't really see the DS as a casual gamers console. Being a gamer of nearly 20 years, the DS is comfortably my most played console these past few years. I play it more than my 360 or Wii. It has more games that appeal to me than the others and most DS games have a feel to them comparable to the pre-PS2 era of gaming. They don't try to create an 'experience' or forget that they are just games.
Anyways, the DS is pretty well suited to the shoot 'em up genre, it's just some games can be taxing on the hands and wrist. Especially FPS games. I'd personally like to see more varying third person shoot 'em ups that offer a refreshing control scheme.
Indeed, DS is a gamers machine, and everyone else for that matter. Don't get me started on awkward FPS controls, I can;t play them laying back because the DS needs to be resting somewhere... and even then it's uncomfortable.I know it's off-topic, but I feel I have to respond to the Nintendo/casual comment made earlier in the thread.
